This is a good follow up to the first book. I'm really glad they're bringing this series back. Out of all the horse books in the 90s-00s, I think this one holds up the best for a modern audience. My favorite thing about this book is the way the setting is such a part of the story. My second favorite thing about the series is the characters (human and equine.) I highly recommend this series for young, horse-crazy readers.
