First time reading anything by Bob Moseley, so I didn't know what to expect. As a baseball fan this book was thoroughly enjoyable. It was easy to read and you almost picture yourself at the games. I highly recommend this book.

Tommy is a young man playing in single A ball , trying to make the major leagues.
Unfortunately things are not going well for him. His fastball isn’t fast and he is expecting to be cut from the team.
Then something spectacular happens! Tommy doesn’t just have a fastball…he has a GREAT fastball.
It allows him to jump from the low leagues to the big leagues.
Sadly….this makes Tommy a bit of a jerk.
When spring training comes around he has a nice car, a lot of money, a house that is in the process of being built.
What Tommy does not have is the relationships he had that were important to him. He also does not have his fastball.
He gets demoted and then dropped from baseball. Instead of being bitter…he makes changes in his life and discovers that fame and fortune are not the same as happy and content.
Good book.
Recommend this one.
