Entrepreneur Rohit Mahajan explains the basics of Artificial Intelligence and the concepts of Quantum Computing, and predicts how the entire health care industry will change positively and drastically in the next decade due to these technologies. He describes new efficiencies in pre-treatment, diagnosis and treatment, integrating relevant research and other information, continuous patient monitoring, and fast-tracking new drug development. An excellent primer for all health care professionals to raise awareness of fast-arriving technology changes that are coming, and that are changing the entire health care industry!

Most of the book (Chapters 1 to 7) is technically fascinating, and explains the concepts of AI and how it will benefit the stakeholders of healthcare. Part II (Chapters 8 and 9) is brief, and will appeal more to entrepreneurs studying or pursuing business start-ups in this field.

I particularly enjoyed the optimism, descriptions, explanations and implications of these technologies, and was less enamoured by the business-development aspects. I appreciated the logical structure of the book, and the way that each chapter helpfully ends with Takeways to summarise the main concepts presented.
