Thank you NetGalley and Supernova Books for the advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. As a former woman athlete myself who played softball at the very early days of Title IX I was excited to read the profiles of the women athletes presented in this book. While many of the athletes I was familiar with there were many I had never heard of. The interviews were also a good read, as well as the pictures. A good read for anyone interested in women’s athletes!

A book depicting women that has reached great heights in their careers, as well as the struggles they faced and that women's sport still faces in the 21st Century.

Great selection of sportswomen to learn about in this collection, though it's very text-heavy compared to many similar collections which could put some people off (very much for grown ups, rather than children, though I imagine that was the intended audience). Some of the pieces are mini-biographies, others are interviews so there's a good mix of styles in there.
