This is a beautifully illustrated introduction to raising a cat. It is ideal for people who have adopted a cat for the first time or are considering it. It's also a nice refresher for more experienced cat people. This book does not go into a lot of detail but provides sound advice on many important topics. This book is all a new cat person needs to get started.
Cat lovers will adore the beautiful artwork.

What a catchy title! I have two cats, and I feel like they only SOMETIMES like me. This book provides excellent tips on common cat questions, along with very cute illustrations! I enjoyed learning more about how cats think, and I learned that I need to be stimulating my kitties a bit more.

You will not be disappointed in this concise guide to care for cats!

This is such a sweet book with the most adorable illustrations.
I have an old, grumpy, 10-year-old cat who is set in her ways, but I still found a lot of tips to enrich her life.
Each section has just enough information to educate, without being preachy. I liked the section on making homemade toys, because my cat is a lazy lump that will lay on the floor and the only exercise she'll get will be batting her paw around for a while. I'm sure I'm the one who gets the most exercise when playing with her!

I’ve had cats for two years, and still found new information, though I think I’m lucky with very social and affectionate cats. This book is most helpful for someone looking to get a cat soon, though any cat owner will find it helpful.

Emphasis on paying attention to your cat and keeping playtime fun and stress free. This book takes you from kitten to senior care. A fun read with good suggestions and insights!

Going even into debunking some famous kitty myths, like are cats really low maintenance, and provide us with a myriad of ideas to bring joys to our kitty's life! A book for any cat lover!

I have read a lot of books on the feline species. This one is very accessible and easy to navigate. It can be read from cover to cover, or used as a reference in case you'd like quick insight into a particular issue. I can't say that I learned a lot, as my cat requires that I stay current on my catology, but I think a beginner would definitely appreciate this book.
It's a pretty quick read, too, if you're looking to warm your heart a little after reading something dull, or need to liven up your day

This is a very useful guidebook for every catowner. It contains a wealth of information about every that has to do with raising and owning a cat. The illustrations in the book are very beautiful and really and to the reading experience.

This has been a great little reference to help build bonds with my feline friend. My wife seemed to build an instant kinship with Willow (our beast), generally known as Bean or Willow-Bean. It's obviously an ongoing process, but this book has been a good starting point.

I loved this book! As a cat owner, I always wonder what my cats are thinking, so this book has definitely helped me with that!

I really enjoyed this guide to owning a cat which had some tips in it for even experienced cat owners about how to enrich a cat's home environment and to ensure that they were happy and healthy. The illustrations are adorable and it is a charming book, as well as a useful one for any cat lover.

What a fabulous book any cat lover would love to read and have in their collection! This book would be appropriate for new or experienced cat owners. I have had cats off and on for many years and found interesting tidbits and other things I did not know before. The section on creating homemade cat activity toys was so helpful as I am always looking for ways to keep my three house cats active.

What really made this book special though were the lovely drawings all the way through. I had to stop and look at each one and appreciate how sweet and well done they were. This book would also make a lovely gift for all the cat lovers in your life.

This is a must have for the new or inexperienced cat care giver. Although it does have helpful hints for all that care for cats. This cute little book was very informative and provided lots of great knowledge about cats. Those of us who have owned cats for a long time might know the bulk of this information, but there were still a few new things I learned! My favorite portion of the book was all of the ideas for enrichment and the DIY solutions.

How amazing is this book?! Perfect illustrations with a LOT of information. This book will give you information about cats' biological systems, activities they prefer, nutrition they need, and many more. It's great for cat lovers and cat owners. The images are also *chef's kiss* Highly recommend for you and for your loved ones!

A lovely little illustrated book of information about how to care for cats.
Neatly laid out in sections which was both useful and pleasing to use and look at.
As a previous pet owner, this book wasn't necessarily telling me anything new but equally I did learn some new things and tips. I like the DIY sections, cost effective for current life!
All in all if you are thinking of getting a kitten/cat this is a super cute book of information & tips.

This is fantastic for new cat parents and ones who have raised cats for years. The drawings are adorable and the sections are laid out nicely making them easy to read.

I have been a cat owner for most of my adult life and had a few as a kid. I’ve read many different books on how to care for your cats. How to Raise A Happy Cat So They Love You More Than Anyone Else has been my favorite so far.

Right away, something I noticed about this book that is different from so many others is the ease of readability. The pages were not cluttered nor were they just massive walls of text. There’s a smooth flow to the pages with space for your eyes to rest.

I also really loved the sweet and playful cat illustrations/paintings in this book.

The book is split into several sections with each section having several topics. In a lot of these topics, you’ll find a circle with the words “What’s the payoff,” along with a short summary of the topic. You’ll find a good amount of information in each section without being overwhelming.

One of the things I loved about this book (that I haven’t seen in a lot of other books about taking care of cats) is that there are a TON of simple directions to DIY things for your cat. It talks you through everything from making extremely simple cat toys to making cat treats to making your own scratcher and everything in between.

Another thing the book does is walk you through how to play with your cat. It has several activities and games you can play with your cat - not just what activities but how to do them.

Of course, the book contains all the things you’d expect to see in a book about cats. It talks about feeding them, pet behavior, stages of life, and so much more.

As an experienced cat owner, I still learned several new things and found several new projects I could do, as well.

So who do I think would benefit from this book? This book would be a great book to have at home when your family’s first cat arrives for the whole family to go over together. It would also be a good book to give to any cat owner, whether they are talking about getting their first cat or a lifelong cat lover. It can be enjoyed by pretty much any age, from elementary aged kids on up.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to raising happy cats, but there are some general tips that will help which this book goes over. Everything from the litterbox to utilising cardboard for the enrichment and hidey holes for your cat. As a long-term cat owner, I felt like I knew most of what was included however this would be a great gift for a new cat owner.

Feeding your cat and giving it lots of love to keep it healthy and happy were some of my favourite tips from the book. You can find a lot of useful information in this book about how to keep your cat happy and healthy, as well as some great ideas for making your cats feel safe and happy at home.

The book is full of beautiful illustrations which illustrate the important topics being discussed in the book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone getting their first cat or feels they need to learn more about cat well-being, as I think it offers great advice to help any cat owners keep their cats happy and healthy.
