This book was such a great read!! The plot was so full of adventure and intrigue that I devoured the book in one setting. The author did an amazing job developing relatable characters and keeping the story going without it lagging. It was such a great read that I will be recommending this book to everyone.

“Wren and I look meaningfully at each other, on the same team – always on the same team…”

Primitive, frightening at times, horrid, but also awe inspiring, Ending Eleven is a perfect ending to such a fantastic series. I enjoyed is that we get to see equal parts outside life as we do in Eleven in this final installment. You get a taste of freedom.

I adore Eve and Wren. Their will to do good never waivers and I truly love them together because of it. We see some new characters and some old ones as well and I like that Jerri connects everyone in some form or another.

The epilogue is everything. I am really happy with how this series ended and everything this final installment gave us. I adore these book covers and this series. If you enjoy sci-fi, post-apocalyptic type stories… grab this series. You will not be disappointed.

Ending Eleven is the kind of ending a dystopian series should always aspire to. It is interesting and entertaining, with one heck of a pay-off. Author Jerri Chisholm brings readers along with protagonist Eve Hamilton for the final push to finally end Compound Eleven forever.

Since this is the third book in a trilogy, I will try to refrain from giving away too much of the plot, but will say that it all leads up to a super satisfying denouement of the series as a whole. I appreciated the ways in which Chisholm navigates trauma in this book. All the characters have endured so much, and it affects them in markedly different ways. Narratively, Chisholm serves readers a lot of internal conflict, which pairs nicely with the external conflicts that have already been present throughout the series.

Don’t get me wrong, there is still action (and some, at-times, shockingly violent moments), but Ending Eleven feels a bit quieter than its predecessors. And the bond between Eve and Wren, though momentarily strained, is one of the most beautiful pieces of the story.

All I can say is, this is how you end a trilogy. And this is how you write an epilogue to said trilogy.

A sincere thank you to Entangled and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was an amazing ending to a fantastic series. This is dystopian at its finest. This Bright me back to reading Hunger Games for the first time.. Absolutely brilliant. Their was action non stop… and I loved every minute of it. I cannot imagine a better ending!

The value of this book is the feeling of nostalgia it evokes. This series in general will transport you back to 2010, when YA dystopian novels were the only stories worth reading. The thing is, this last installment ends like every other series that came out during that time.

And so, because this follows a very formulaic and predictable ending, the conclusion to this series isn't quite as engaging or exciting as I may have wanted it to be.

But I still love the concept of the story/series as a whole and I do believe the events of this final book are consistent the overall tone and vibe of the previous ones. It's fitting and pretty much the only ending that I feel like would work for the series.

Because of the easy readability and familiar themes, any reader hoping to go back to the days of the YA dystopia craze should check out this series!
