In If Only You, Chloe Liese crafts a heartfelt and funny romance centered on Ziggy, the Bergman family’s youngest, who’s neurodivergent, bisexual, and struggling with chronic illness and anxiety, and Sebastian, a charming “bad boy” hockey player with a reputation to repair. Their chemistry is electric right from the beginning, where an embarrassing wedding mishap leads to hilarious—and swoon-worthy—banter.

Their “friends-with-benefits-for-reputation” plan has them staging a public image revamp: Sebastian needs to seem reliable, and Ziggy wants to be seen as a little more adventurous. As they spend more time together, Sebastian sees past her insecurities and sensory sensitivities, while Ziggy brings out a vulnerable, sensitive side in him he’s been hiding for years. The evolution of their relationship is filled with hilarious mishaps (including a flour fight, a “bad yoga” class, and a bookstore date with an unexpected passionate moment), plus meaningful conversations about chronic illness, self-worth, and family support.

Ziggy and Sebastian’s journey to love is full of real-life quirks and imperfections, making them super relatable. If you enjoy a blend of laugh-out-loud moments, slow-burn romance, and tender family dynamics, this Bergman Brothers book will hit the spot.

Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for this arc!!!

5/5 stars

Miss Chloe just never ever disappoints. I'm not really a sports romance girlie, but Ziggy and Sebastian were so good I ended up enjoying it so much more than I thought I would - and am I surprised?! No lol Chloe is Queen. I love fake dating, I love the neurodiversity rep, I love their love together!! Bergman Sisters for the win!

I loved this one! I’m a big fan of the Bergman Brothers series and this book is no exception.

Ziggy has really intrigued me since the behinning of the series when she was wuite young and I was really excited when it was her turn to get a book. She’s very relatable to me due to neurodivergence and queerness we have in common.

It’s great to see two queer people get together and I think we see queer M/F couples too rarely in books. I’m very thankful of Chloe providing us with another queer couple to root for in the Bergman series.

The book is also about DOING THE WORK and Seb really made me go through it emotionally how he did the work and tried to become a better person, not only for Ziggy, but for himself.

This one very much tugged at my heart strings and can’t recommend the series enough.

Today, I’m combining my passions for books and public health today to highlight how celiac was highlighted in Chloe Liese’s book, If Only You, which features a male MC named Seb Gauthier who is diagnosed with celiac. I was diagnosed with celiac disease over 10 years ago and If Only You was the first time I have encountered a book with a main character who also had celiac (Chloe’s book With You Forever was the first time I had ever seen celiac even mentioned). I cannot applaud this book enough for how well the celiac is portrayed. Seb exhibits some of the most common symptoms and the multiple years of symptoms people live with while they are undiagnosed. Later in the book, Ziggy acknowledges how large of a role food plays in our lives. Food is culture and changes how you live and interact with others. Chloe is a queen of representation in romance, and she hits the mark again with celiac disease.

Chloe liese has given us a heroine to admire until the very end, and a noble hero who cherishes every single thing about her. I am in love!!

Ziggy! I'm so excited we finally got to see more of Ziggy after getting little snippets in her sibling's stories. I think I wanted a little more from her story after so much anticipation, but I really enjoyed this one, as I always do with Liese's books. This series is so special and I"m so sad that it's almost done.

Thanks to the publisher and eARC in exchange for an honest review.

MY FAVOURITE BERGMAN BROTHERS BOOK SO FAR!!

Ziggy has my whole heart, she's the superior sibling by far! Their relationship was so natural, and mature relationship. I sobbed during a part of this book, can't quite tell if it was from happiness or just soppiness.

Very late on this review (tbh thought I did 😬) but it was so incredibly good. I’ve read it a couple of times since. It’s hard to have a favorite Bergman but I really love Ziggy and thoroughly appreciate the bi representation!

Another great instalment of the Bergman Siblings series. In this book, we finally get Ziggy's story. Having seen her through her siblings' and their mates' eyes for so many books, it was wonderful to see her take centre stage. Chloe does an amazing job at showing us how she has grown up and yet is the same person. Like any younger sibling, it can be difficult to feel like a full adult in your own life and overcoming that plus dealing with her neurodiversity, it was important that Ziggy would be paired with someone who could embrace her as she is today. Sebastian is just that. Lost in his own life to some degree, the real him invisible to those around him, he learns from Ziggy how to embrace himself and be ok with it. I loved this book.

Loved this addition to the Bergman Brothers series. I loved how the characters were able to grow and support each other through the trials they faced. Great story line that keeps me engaged from start the finish!

There are some stories that move you so deeply and so unexpectedly, that you end up shedding buckets of tears in the end, feeling too much all at once. As I read the last few pages of this beautiful book, I could barely see the words through all my tears, because nothing prepared me for the sheer emotion running through this stunning, wrenching, gem of a novel.

Chloe Liese's writing just always hits the spot, and I've been waiting for Ziggy's book for SO LONG. Ziggy is just my loveable redheaded, enemies to lovers loving, international athlete autistic babe (like she's literally me), and Sebastian is super hot - brothers best friend hot tattooed hockey player, need I say less? The autistic rep was incredible, they were super cute together, and overall loved this.

I will say at times it felt a little rushed and I wasn't entirely sure why he kept going on about how bad he was, it's not like he killed someone, so the conflict of the book felt a little forced for me. And I wasn't a fan of the time jump and it felt like a lot happened off page there.

But apart from those issues, I loved this, and can't wait to see what else Chloe does!!

Another Chloe Liese romance, another fantastic read! I had been waiting for Ziggy's book ever since the second Bergman Brothers book and I am definitely very happy with the story we got.

Ziggy is tired of her angelic reputation, her brother's best friend and hockey teammate Sebastian needs to clean up his public image. So they make a pact to be fake-friends, giving Ziggy more of an edgier public persona while showing people there's more to Sebastian than what they've seen in the gossip pages. But then inevitably fake-friendly feelings turn into real romantic feelings.

This book was perfection. Ziggy and Sebastian's relationship evolved from barely being friends to falling for each other at a frustratingly slow pace, but that made the entire evolution all the more genuine. No quick "oh I guess he/she wasn't what I thought after all" excuses to force these two characters together. They both grow individually, with the support from the other person, which then results in them growing closer and closer.

I really enjoyed my time with this book. Safe to say that I'll just automatically read whatever Chloe Liese writes next. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for it.

I think if anyone knows me, they know that I am a Chloe Liese fan. I love her books so much, and this book is no exception. Sebastian and Ziggy's story is so emotional for me. The rep in this book is spectacular, and this beautiful fake best friends-to-friends-to-lovers story is so perfect. If you haven't picked up Liese's books yet, what are you doing? You need to go pick up this series because I love it and cannot recommend it enough!

Could not have loved this book more! I was waiting Ziggy to get her turn into the spotlight and I was not disappointed. Seb and Ziggy were the exact right person for each other and they way they completed each other was wonderful to witness. Absolutely outstanding!!

I love the Bergman family and this book fills me with joy. Every book I have read by Chloe Liese has has a wonderful representation of something and If Only You doesn't disappoint. Youngest Bergman, Ziggy has ASD and love interest Seb is diagnosed with Celiac disease. The romance is a little slow, but there is good reason for it. I don't know what I'm going to do when the last book is out. I wish there were 10 more siblings to read about, rather than just 1.

This is another fantastic addition to the Bergman Brothers series that I could not get enough of! I loved the way our main characters balanced each other out, worked with each other and encouraged each other to grow. I also thought the autism rep was just fantastic

Chloe Liese has outdone herself once again. This book was so great. I have a book hangover. Prepare yourself since this is a SLOWWWWWW Burn, but it's so worth it in the end. I loved the Neurodivergent and Chronic Illness representation. As usual, it was done with care and concern. Chloe Liese is an auto-buy author for sure, so if you haven't given this series a chance, I highly recommend it.

This can be read as a standalone, but it's so much fun to read the other #bergmanbrothers books first, so you get to experience the whole family finding love.
