This was a very different book but in a good way. Josie Fair, the main character, keeps you guessing. You never quite know what to make of her. I enjoyed this title and read it pretty quickly.

I’ve been a fan of Jewel’s for a long time, and this may be her best novel yet! The characters weee very well developed and relatable. The story moved at a great pace. There were several twists and the end just kept you guessing. I highly recommend this one!

I inhaled this book and really enjoyed it on audio. The podcast element was a fun part of the story. It a compelling read, although probably won't stick with me for much time. I kept expecting more twists and turns. There is one, but it wasn't terribly shocking. This book does have some pretty horrible abuse elements in it.

I thought this was very atmospheric and I loved the podcast aspect to it. But if I’m being perfectly honest that has to be it. The characters all felt irritating, everything was too ambiguous, and I feel like there was no real ending.

This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and it felt flat for me. I’m so disappointed 😣

Lisa Jewell has done it again!! Josie Fair is a woman who has some quirks, when she runs into Alix Summers, a famous podcaster with whom she wants to share her story. There are so many intricacies to this novel that happen throughout the story, and it was just such a page turner. I will always go right for a Lisa Jewell books because they are that good!! 4 stars, fantastic!

My favorite Lisa Jewell yet! I loved the mixed mediums used to tell the story. There were multiple POVs, a podcast, and a Netflix show script. It kept the story both suspenseful and entertaining. The women made the story have neighborhood drama vibes, but with a creepy overlay. This was a perfect book club read, and I will definitely be recommending this one!

None of This is True was just so good! I really enjoy Lisa Jewell books and that is even further solidified with this one!

That title is so perfect too because I really didn’t know who to believe the entire time! The two main characters Josie and Alix had a very unconventional friendship/partnership. Part of the story was told in the present and the other parts was through Josie telling her story to Alix as they recorded a podcast. It was very intriguing and addicting and I couldn’t put it down.

In the end I did feel that there were a few loose ends that didn’t make sense. I also wanted a little more from the ending. But overall it was very good and a great thriller and it’s some great twists!

I am a long-time reader of Lisa Jewell, but dare I say, this is her best work yet! NONE OF THIS IS TRUE was a fun, unsettling, and sinister read. I’ve been thinking about this book ever since I finished reading it and can’t recommend it enough to lovers of psychological thrillers. Lisa Jewell truly outdid herself with this one! I enjoyed this riveting read so much that I planned to purchase a hard copy to add to my personal library, but I ended up winning a SIGNED COPY through a giveaway hosted by @thrillerbookshelved!!

At a restaurant celebrating their 45th birthday, Josie Fair meets Alix Summer, who is also celebrating her 45th! They are birthday twins. When they meet again, Josie tells Alix she wants to tell Alix her story. Her story is that she was groomed as a young girl by an older man. Alix creates a podcast to tell the story. Josie tells a tale of her daughters, and her husband, eliciting sympathy from Alix. But, when Alix's husband goes missing after Josie has wormed her way into their lives and their homes, Alix becomes very nervous.
When you read the ending of the book, you wonder - what did you read? Was Josie telling the truth? Was she a victim? Or, was she pulling the strings?
Another great thriller from Lisa Jewell.

I LOVED this one!!! I think it is my 2nd favourite Lisa Jewell
Yet!! The family upstairs being my 1st, I loved how this story was written with the Netflix show but also a podcast element it felt so fresh and modern. I loved how it was told
To us, I loved how it really had me questioning things but also couldn’t stop reading because I had to know what happened. I don’t want to stay to much because it’s better going into this one blind and experiencing it that way but just wow! If you like thrillers especially Lisa Jewell domestic thrillers don’t miss out on this one!

I really enjoyed this one especially on audiobook, because the podcast element made the story come to life. I alternated between the audiobook and reading the book, and I definitely recommend the book both ways! This was my first Lisa Jewell and it definitely won't be my last! If you're looking for a mystery thriller, definitely check this one out!

In case any of you are like me after finishing the absolutely unnecessary The Family Remains and were doubting Lisa Jewell, along comes None Of This Is True and Ms. Jewell declaring . . . .

I'M BACK, BITCHES!

The story here is about Josie. She already has it in her head that she wants to make some changes in her life, so when she accidentally meets her “birthday twin” at a restaurant where they are both celebrating their 45th, discovers said birthday twin Alix has a podcast and suggests she be the subject for the next set of installments.

You may be thinking you know where this is heading and it’s another dime or dozen stalker situation, but oh would you be wrong! My oh my do I appreciate a quality unreliable narrator and this book has one of the best. And just look at all those houses on the cover!!!!!!! I loved it.

You never know what secrets someone is keeping. This book kept me on my toes and being blown away by what happened next. It was a page-turner and I stayed up all night reading it!

Though this loses a lot of steam once the twist is revealed, but Lisa Jewell kills the end of chapter cliffhanger again and again in this book. It's a real page turner that I tackled in large chunks, because it was difficult to put down. Incredibly twisty and entertaining and where it ends up will surprise anyone.
