No one is doing it like Lisa Jewell. She’s the master of the thriller, and her latest book does not dissapoint.
I found myself completely unable to put it down, desperate to know what happened, eating up every single unhinged twist and turn, wondering what and who I can believe up until the very last page.
So grateful to have had the opportunity to read an early copy of None of This is True and only sad now because it means I have to wait that much longer for Jewell’s next book.

Some authors get better and better, which is what we have here!!! Totally creepy but riveting story. Just Loved it!!! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher!

Lisa Jewell does it again! This had me on my toes. And the I did not predict what would happen next. It threw me for a loop. I loved the set up of the book. How some scenes were how a Netflix documentary was set up and then going to present day. I really enjoyed that. And I love when endings answer brining questions but also leaves you with more questions!
Alix is a podcast producer and Josie has asked to be on her show. She has total creepy stalker vibes but seems so innocent and so believable in her actions and words. But clearly not innocent when she runs away. She she blames everyone else for the troubles in her life and not herself. I wish we could have know more about Josie and the background to her reasons for the things she’s done and collected from Alix though.

This book was amazing. I love everything by this author, she is a stellar writer. This book was so fast paced. I couldn't wait to read more and more to uncover the mystery.

Who thinks like this? How did Lisa come up with one of the sickest characters I’ve ever come across in a book? The main character in this book is the definition of a thriller. Multiple POVs, timelines, a podcast and Netflix series thrown in. Lots of triggering subjects but just absolutely disturbing in all of the ways that a thriller lover can ask for. Can’t wait for the release. Thank you netgalley for the ARC!

I don't like podcasts, but the setting really adds to this story. I literally finished this book in a couple of hours. The way Jewell revealed the twists shows why she is such a popular author. Thank you Atria Books for the copy!

Lisa Jewell is BACK and this psychological thriller did not disappoint.
This is my 6th book by Jewell and she will forever be an auto-buy author for me.
Thank you Netgalley and Atria Books for the ARC.
There was no way I was waiting until closer to the pub date for this one!
I was a little nervous because although I have really enjoyed most of Jewell's books, The Family Remains series just did not work for me.
However, hesitate no more, this book was 💯 bingeworthy!. Like, let me hide this bodacious bod under the covers with a king size kit kat and hope no one finds me type of bingeworthy. ✔️
This story has dual timelines, with present day being told in the form of a Netflix Documentary transcript. I loved this idea, and expect to see this type of format in a lot more books moving forward. Towards the end, I just wanted to see what happened, so became less thrilled with this writing style, but this just means it was a good story!
I will be curious what people think of the ending, so let me know when you read this one.
All in all, another hit from Lisa Jewell that you will want to check out this summer!

I want to thank this publisher for sending me a physical copy of this book as well as an ebook copy. I want to read the physical copy first, because that’s my preferred method, and then I’ll update my review!

Um this was bonkers 😅😳 Holy…
When Alix and Josie meet and discover they are birthday twins, they strike up an unusual partnership that means something entirely different to each of them— for Alix, it's professional: a new podcast adventure and project that'll spark new life within her work and keep her attention focused. For Josie, though, it's something else altogether and hums with dark secrets and sinister intentions.
The whole time I just felt weirded out. The story was SO eerie. It felt up close and personal... like inside your personal space without permission, personal. There was a closeness that each scene exuded, almost as though you there in the room with Alix and Josie or like they were just off to your left, just out of sight. It really does feel claustrophobic at times. Like you’re trapped in a strange (and scary) space and time.
The story is told through a unique chronological (mostly, sort of) timeline through the events of what happened while they happened, a podcast, and then a script/screenplay of a Netflix original series following the events. And it seamlessly weaves all the details and plot lines together… and I just LOVED IT. Especially the screenplay bits. Those had me endlessly hooked.
My eyes bulged on a continuous basis during the middle and latter half of the story when all the juicy bits start coming out. There were also moments when I just felt icky all over (thanks Josie, NOT) and I'm not really a fan when thrillers do that... but it definitely evened out as the story went on! I think I also questioned my sanity a number of times. Because what is truth really 💀 — perception, reality, fact? This book will make you question a lot of things. And my. gah. always to Lisa’s endings 😂 Every time, they have a major shock factor and leave you with your jaw on the floor wanting more.
Overall, another great thriller by this author!!

True to Lisa Jewel fashion, None of This is True keeps you on edge until the very end. Quick, easily read, well written chapters had me flying through this book in one day.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Atria Books, and Lisa Jewel for the opportunity to read and enjoy this ARC.

I'm still reeling from this mind-blowing, thrill ride of a book! Lisa Jewell is a queen of psychological thrillers and for good reason. I always thought "Then She was Gone" was my favorite Jewell book but this one gives that story a run for its money. "None of this is True" is teetering close to the best of all Jewell novels. I LOVED EVERY SECOND!
I was absolutely riveted from the very beginning as this story unfolded. Two women, they meet briefly in a gastropub on the night of their 45th birthdays. They share the same birthday and age, so they share a giggle about it. One woman is Alix Summers, a semi-famous podcaster and the other is Josie Fair, a boring wife and mom. Josie sees Alix as this dreamy, glamorous woman and feels plain and boring after meeting her. She begins to insert herself into Alix's life by "accidentally" bumping into her. She pitches Alix an idea, tell the story of her sordid past and the changes she intends to make. Alix is intrigued and they begin a podcast about Josie. Shocking revelations are made, traumatic life stories are told, and Alix gets wrapped up in a dark and twisted world that Josie has pulled her into.
My mind is still numb with amazement at the execution of this story. The "Netflix" documentary storyline just adds a layer of interest and absorbs the reader because we can all relate to seeing these documentaries unfold. Highly recommend. 4.5 brilliant stars- read this book! Thank you to Ms. Jewell, the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC.

Lisa Jewell is at the top of her game with this one. A recommended first purchase for collections where thrillers are popular.

So Lisa Jewell has been of a hit or miss for me in the past. This was definitely a hit. I expected for me to breeze through this book rather quickly, but I got so engrossed in the story.
Alix Summers is a podcaster who is celebrating her 45th birthday when she runs into a woman who shares the same birthday as her. The two decide to work together on a new podcast project. Alix is shocked at what her "birthday twin" Josie shares with her about her life. Soon the two women's lives getting entwined outside of the podcast.
This was an absolutely wild ride. The twists were executed so well that I always felt off-kilter about what was really going on. I think that there will be another book similar to her Family Remains series. I am definitely eager if that's the case.

This story is about two women who share the same birthday, were born in the same hospital, chose the same place to celebrate their 45th birthday. Alix Summers; big podcaster promoting women who take their second chances in life. She has a beautiful home, two little kids and problems in her marriage. And, Josie Fair, married to an older husband, mother of 2 older daughters who is a bit unsatisfied by her life.
When Josie knocks on Alix's door in the middle of the night, Alix realizes things can get more out of control and nothing as it seems.
This was very hard to put down. The characters are excellent I kept changing my mind on which woman's story I liked better. One character in particular is a puzzling conundrum to say the very least! The plot twists and turns at a fast pace to a good ending which isn’t neatly sewn up - This is more real...

Lisa Jewell is an auto buy author for me. This psychological thriller is so binge-able and delicious! You will be left wondering the the hell just happened and who did what? I loved it, and I’m so sad all my friends have to wait til August to read it and talk about it with me. One of Jewell’s best works for sure!!

I'M SORRY....WHAT????
This was wild. I don't know what to believe!!! But I know I'm going to be thinking about this book for a long time.

Lisa Jewell is an auto buy for me! In fact, she really is one of the first authors that really got me into thrillers. And she didn't disappoint here!
A bit different structure than her previous books with 2 female lead characters, no dual timelines, flashbacks, etc. It's just really a straightforward rollercoaster ride full of twists and turns.
Absolutely loved this one and all of the little intricacies of the different relationship dynamics.
A must read and an easy read if you need to get out of a reading rut!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishing team for this free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you Net Galley and Atria Books for this ARC. This is by far my favorite novel by Lisa Jewell. It was fast paced from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down. This book had me guessing and I enjoyed the twists as well. This will be a book that I'm telling everyone to read this summer.

“Don’t you ever think, that everything would be easier if they were dead?” Lisa Jewell has done it again, leaving readers wondering if “None of This is True” then, what IS true? As an avid reader of her books, I had high expectations for this novel and they were all achieved. Great characters, pacing, and of course, drama! I had a hard time putting this down and all the way to the end was hungry for the next page. Definitely put this high on your to be read list!

MY THOUGHTS
- I love Lisa Jewell’s books. This is another one of her gems, and it doesn’t disappoint.

- Good character development. Really liked Alix’s character.
- This book has a lot of twists and turns, and it’s engrossing. I didn’t want to put it down! I don’t want to spoil anything, so keeping this review short here.
