This is a futuristic sort of Dirty Harry.
It is violent, with a Robocop story line.
The characters are engaging and it is a quick fun read.
I was given a copy of this book to review.
Godel's writing is fast-paced and vivid, drawing readers into a futuristic and terrifying world. The characters are well-developed and complex, each adding a unique perspective to the story. The AI-powered gun is a fascinating character, and Godel does an excellent job of exploring the ethical implications of a weapon that can think and act for itself.
The action scenes are expertly crafted, with plenty of suspense and danger to keep readers engaged. Overall, "AI Magnum" is a thrilling and thought-provoking novel that fans of sci-fi and action will definitely want to check out.
This isn’t a long book (couple of hours to read), but I enjoyed it immensely. This is a Robo Cop type theme, with an AI controlled gun, and as usual when tech company CEOs make decisions about AI weapons then murder and mayhem are a certainty to follow. If that’s you sort of thing I think you will like this book as much as I did. Thank you to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine, freely given.
