THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP is a warm, hilarious read by Ms. Foster that falls in the same world as her previous book, THE HONEYMOON COTTAGE.

Welcome back to the town of Cemetery. This time its Emily and Saul's time to find their happy ever after. Emily runs the towns florist as well as taking care of her aunt and uncle. Saul is the owner of the towns barbecue joint. Both are well like by the towns people. Saul has had a romantic interest in Emily for a while. But she isnt getting his hints. The little Flower Shop is a heartwarming read. Lori Foster writes engaging characters. The antics of a cat and dog will have the reader smiling.
The relationship between Aunt Mabel and Uncle Sullivan is so sweet. Kathleen the mannequin is back for more fun. Another 5 star read from Lori Foster, i can't wait to read what happens in the next book from this series.

I have read books by Lori Foster for years and they are always a good read. A heartwarming story set in a small town with the two main characters who were first introduced to the readers in the first book of the series.

Foster has to be one of the most consistently good writers ever. You know picking up her books that the story will be good, the characters great and it will leave you feeling good.

The Little Flower Shop is another visit to Cemetery, Indiana. Not only do we get to know Emily and Saul so much better in this book but we get to see our favorites from The Honeymoon Cottage, especially Betty Cemetery and Kathleen. OMG Kathleen. I'm laughing just thinking about her. If you don't know yet, you have to read the book to find out why! The characters in this book are not only wonderful but the story is sweet and enjoyable. I could totally see myself living there and weaving into the resident's lives. Saul and Emily are wonderful. I loved that Emily has always been liked but a bit apart from those around her but Saul doesn't care. He's had an eye on her for awhile and sees his chance to pursue a relationship. He's also quite the opposite of her ex=husband who shook her self-image. Saul's quiet confidence in their match is heartwarming and perfect for snagging Emily.

I highly recommend this book!

Thanks to NetGalley, Canary Street Press and the author for the ARC.

A great read from Lori Foster. The Little Flower Shop is sweet, funny and a bit emotional. Watch Saul and Emily, navigate their attraction and fall in love. When you toss in some awesome co-workers, worries about family, a well-meaning but sweet and meddling lady and some cute pets, you’ve got a book that will keep you entertained from the first page to the last.

I loved Emily who is affectionately known as the Flower Lady in Cemetery Indiana. She works so hard in her flower shop and taking care of her aunt & uncle, especially since her divorce. She feels like she's had her chance at love and that's it for her but the town knows better. I love how they worked so hard to help favorite town bachelor Saul show her that they were meant to be together. I also loved how patient Saul was with her.

Everyone has a past. It shapes and colors them, differently for each but then that is what makes them individuals. All the characters in THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP are very much like the flowers in a garden if you think about it as an analogy. Some require special care. All need nourishment. Each adds something special to a flower arrangement or bouquet. Okay, I am done waxing poetic but that is what popped into my brain while reading this charming and endearing book by Lori Foster.
A long-time fan of anything Lori Foster, and I emphasis long, I was not surprised by the almost immediate draw and connection I felt with the characters she created for THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP. Each member of the books exceptional cast has a significant role. The central character is Emily aka The Flower Lady who is the owner of THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP in a town with a very strange name Cemetery.
THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP is book two in the Indiana Summers series which began with The Honeymoon Cottage. Not to worry if you missed the first but they are equally amazing reads. When I read the vast list of books written by Lori Foster I am amazed at how many I have read. She is creative and her works vary from tough guys, sassy incredible women, friendships, family dramas and joys, and many more, which is why her fan base is so huge.
THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP is a love story. Everyone in Cemetery loves Emily, there is a quality about her that reaches out and touches anyone who meets her. Problem is that Emily still sees herself in the eyes of her ex. He was verbally abusive to this lovely woman who unfortunately has held onto his words describing her. After many years Emily is beginning to think she needs some changes to her life. She has her beloved aunt and uncle, wait till you meet them. She has a cadre of folk that think very highly of her although she doesn’t truly recognize that. And then there is Saul.
Saul only has eyes for Emily and for a long time he has remained in the background. But he is ratcheting up his game which means he is going after what he wants and that is Emily. He is fairly certain the attraction is mutual but that is hard to prove.
Emily has decided she needs a list. A list of needed improvements to her rather mundane, and if she is honest, lonely life. Some items are simple, others need more guts. Getting a dog, being more social, updating your wardrobe and letting your hair down – literally.
So we get to watch the transformation of Emily. This is not a speedy event. Slow and steady but worth every moment.
THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP should be on everyone’s must read for this summer. Lovely book to sit back and smile. So many wondrous characters, too numerous to mention. Every page filled with insight, hope, faith, and love. Lori Foster hit one out of the ballpark with THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP.

I had to DNF at 30%. This book dragged on and on in the smallest details, and it was too much. When a simple ride home turned into 15 pages of talking and weird talking "around" sex and age, I gave up. Not a fan.

THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP is the second instalment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult INDIANA SUMMERS romance series focusing on the people of Cemetery Indiana. This is thirty-nine year old, restaurant owner Saul Culver, and forty-one year old, divorcee and florist Emily Lucretia’s story line. THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from third person perspective THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP follows the building romance and relationship between thirty-nine year old, The Pit Stop restaurant owner Saul Culver, and forty-one year old, divorcee and florist Emily Lucretia. Saul Culver is Cemetery Indiana’s most eligible bachelor but Saul has his sights set on florist Emily Lucretia. A slow seduction of Emily begins to involve a number of locals, and someone is posting Emily’s picture of the town’s social media account but Emily is batting between head and heart as her beloved uncle is injured in a fall, and her heart is lost to our story line hero.

Meanwhile, Emily’s employee Gentry McAdams is working above and beyond at Emily’s shop but Emily suspects someone has captured Gentry’s heart, a young woman who is currently working for the man Emily loves. Mila Nash is trying everything to grab Gentry’s attention but Gentry struggles with demons from the past.

The relationship between Emily and Saul is a friends to lovers; a slow building romance between two people who live and work in Cemetery Indiana, a small town of friendly residents who love and support their local citizens. Saul has lusted after Emily from afar but is determined to seduce the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

The secondary and supporting characters include Emily’s Aunt Mabel and Uncle Sullivan; Gentry and Mila; Pit Stop waiter Wheeler; Saul’s Godson Beck t-shirt shop owner Lawson Salder; town busybody Betty Cemetery, and Kathleen, who appears everywhere and anywhere.

THE LITTLE FLOWER SHOP is a sweet story of family and friendships, love and happily ever afters. The premise is heartwarming -there is little to no conflict; the romance is tender; the characters are impassioned.

The Little Flower Shop is the second book that takes place in the town of Cemetery, Indiana. While it opens where the first book in the series ends, this one works well as a stand alone. This is Saul and Emily's story. Saul has wanted to make Emily his for a long time. The time seems right, he just needs to convince Emily. Emily is a divorcee who has given up on love. She is content with her flower shop and taking care of her aunt and uncle.

As with the first book, I loved the time I spent in this town. The characters are so fun. Emily's aunt and uncle were hilarious. I also loved the town antics with the mannequin. Emily and Saul were adorable together. Emily did frustrate me a bit because 41 is not old! I was glad when she got over that. Their relationship is one you want to root for. #theflowerlady was really fun and kicked off some fun scenes in the town. There is also a bonus romance that was just as adorable. But, I won't spoil it. I highly recommend this one!

Saul is Cemetery's most eligible bachelor and owner of the local barbeque place. Emily, the flower lady, has been focused on her flower shop and taking care of her aging aunt and uncle who took her in when her parents died. Saul has been interested in Emily for a long time, but Emily doesn't see her own appeal. Saul is determined to show Emily how special she is and that he is the right man for her. What happens when locals start tagging Emily in pictures posted to the town's social media page? Will Emily open her arms to a lost teenage boy who Saul is taking in after learning of his friend's death? Will Emily let herself be vulnerable and open up to Saul? Will Saul and Emily cut back on their hours of work to spend more time together? I absolutely loved The Little Flower Shop by Lori Foster. Saul and Emily are a great couple with amazing chemistry. The Little Flower Shop is a book that will make the reader laugh out loud. I loved Emily's aunt and uncle who share a great love that is as strong now as when they married. A new great couple was introduced in Gentry, who works for Emily, and Mila, who works for Saul. Loved Gentry and Mila! They had scorching hot chemistry. Who doesn't love Kathleen? I would highly recommend getting The Little Flower Shop by Lori Foster. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Heartwarming, feel-good romance

I adored this return to Cemetery, Indiana! Emily and Saul are just perfect for each other, and I loved his gentle approach to their relationship. It's a bit of a slow-burn as Emily has more than her fair share of doubts, and I loved the way their friends worked to speed things along.

Kathleen is the perfect character, or rather her inclusion in the stories and the way she is utilized by the other characters make a perfect addition to this quirky town. I thought Emily's relationship with her aunt and uncle added great depth to her character, and their "adoption" of Gentry was priceless. I really appreciated the turn that the author chose to avoid a love triangle - it really was perfect for all the characters involved.

I loved their HEA, and was especially charmed by the opening wedding of the couple from the previous book. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves small town contemporary romances. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Come get swept away back to the sweet town of Cemetery, Indiana in The Little Flower Shop by Lori Foster. For some reason everyone in Cemetery is under the impression that Emily is perfect, but she has flaws, just because she can’t think of any right now doesn’t make her perfect. It turns out that Emily is perfect, perfect for Saul, he just has to convince her of that.
I loved getting to visit Cemetery again and getting to know Emily and Saul better. I highly recommend this sweet moving romance to anyone looking for a romance full of sweet townsfolk, who love playing Cupid.

Cemetary, Indiana

Such a quirky name for a wonderful little town. And everyone that lives there is like one big, extended family.

I so enjoyed Saul, Emily & Beck's story; along with Gentry & Mila and even Uncle Sullivan & Aunt Mabel. Then there's Satin & Snuggles and of course Betty! And who can forget Kathleen!!! She gets around town more than anyone else. LOL

I think living in this fun little lake town would be a blast!

3.5*

While part of the Indiana Summer Series, The Little Flower Shop could be read as a standalone.
This was a sweet read, with a definite case of instalove.
I wouldn't mind living in a town like Cemetery, although everyone up in my business all the time would probably wear on me after awhile! But I do think the town was good for Emily. And Saul was for sure- they were good for each other, really.

This was a very typical Lori Foster small town romance. A strong, possessive (but not overwhelmingly so) hero and a sweet heroine who doesn't quote see her appeal.
Towards the end of the book, when a certain character and plot point were introduced, is when I really became invested in the story. Up until then I was enjoying it, but the ending pushed me to round up to 4*.

I'm not sure if there are more books planned for this series, I haven't looked ahead, but there is one character that I could see getting his own book!
