For anyone looking to improve on their leadership skills, or anyone interested in the field of educational leadership-this book would be a great recommendation for such a purpose. I loved that it included experiences, and changes to what work is post covid-and that is very crucial in inspiring performance.
Thanks Netgalley for eARC.
I thank NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
As an educator with 10 years of experience, I found the book "Leading with Humanity" by Tom Wellner to be a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn how to lead with compassion, empathy, and respect.I found the book to be well-written and engaging. Wellner's insights from his own experience as a leader brought the principles of human-centered leadership to life.
The chapter where he talks about striving for excellence is appreciable.I would like my students to strive for excellence and develop all the qualities he has talked about in the book.I will gift this book to my nephew when it is published.
Overall, I found "Leading with Humanity" to be an excellent book on leadership.
Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for the eARC of this book. This was definitely an eye-opening book. I recently finished my masters degree in Education Leadership, and I’m always on the lookout for books that really pinpoint what it means to be a leader. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who is looking to sharpen their leading skills, especially when it comes to this specific topic. I feel like we live in a world where everything is constant and there needs to be this balance, especially for workers that you are leading. Having that sense of humanity and dignity for a person is very important and that is what makes them want to stay with you longer. Some of my best bosses were those that truly cared about myself as a person and my family and not just my results.
