I’d like to thank net galley for allowing me to read this book as an eARC in exchange for my honest review

I do agree with what Shola suggests throughout her book, Mutual respect in the work place will create a system which will empower the employees themselves and therefore affecting the company for the better.

As much as I do think this movement is a necessity, I do also know it would be a huge work especially for the ones already in the work environment that have passed through different type of mental bullying at work

because this is a movement that needs to connect with people’s hearts, respect can’t be faked, it has to come from everyone
It has to start with them respecting themselves, being confident with themselves then to pass that respect to everyone else

I would recommend for this book to be more implemented to the younger generation who are the future of the world and who might be more willing to accept what is presented in here

But nevertheless, this was a great book that deserves to be read by everyone young or older

This book is so helpful. I am a teacher and the past three years have been exceptionally difficulty. Everyone is in a bad mood - students and staff. This book address so many topics they are helpful in education and in all industries. I was skeptical about whether it would be helpful or if it would be too much “toxic positivity”. It isn’t toxic positivity at all. The strategies are very realistic and helpful, even if you’re the only one at your workplace wanting to bring about change.

If you are literally pissed off regarding your work and work place and need to blow some steam off, this book will definitely serve as your bestie.

The writing is very basic and quite easy to read. You will find the different aspects of positivity to make your current unhappy situation lot better in helping you find what’s actually making you unhappy and what you can do about it.

The book is short but yes, it’s like I am talking with my best friend over a cup of coffee and discuss what we can do about our current situation instead of becoming more and more negative.

I would say the book is best for those who are not hard core nonfiction readers. It’s best fit for beginners and those who do not read nonfiction self help books most days.

Thank you, Advantage Media Group - ForbesBooks, for the advance reading copy.
