I received an ARC copy for an honest review from Netgalley and the opinions expressed in this review are mine and mine alone.

Okay, holy crap! I just finished reading this amazing book and am still feeling all the feels. This book had me crying, laughing, and rooting for these two! Glory has been through some hard times and comes into her own during this book. Killian has definitley made my book boyfriend list! He is just so yummy and sweet. The supporting characters were a hoot to have and I loved how they helped the story flow. This book was so amazing that I finished it in a day, because I didn't want to put it down! K.M. Galvin definitely knows what she is doing and this book is so amazing! I am still reeling from it and may just read it again!

I loved this book but I'm so conflicted!

--
Glory and Killian have been best friends since they were little. However, because of small-town gossip involving their parents, they distanced themselves going from best friends to enemies.

Since is their senior year, Killian decides to make amends, but what happens when insecurities and past come back to interfere with their new relationship?
--

As I said before, I'm very conflicted in reviewing this book because on one hand I loved it and it made me so emotional, but on the other hand, there were moments when I would have just thrown Killian away.

I'm not usually a big fan of high school romances but this one was enjoyable, except for Killian's initial attitude.

I still don't understand why he had to take out his anger and frustration on Glory. When they got together he was the perfect one: attentive, romantic, and passionate, but during and after the 3rd break-up act, I just wanted to punch him.

I loved Glory so much but she takes the blame for everything when she just deserves the best in this world. I also loved her relationship with her dad because he was so supportive of her soccer career and he also suggested she goes to therapy!

I still don't think there was enough clarification between Glory and Killian at the end.

Tropes:
- High school romance
- Friends-to-enemies-to-lovers
- Small town

Thank you, NetGalley and K.M. Galvin for the ARC!

I can't wait to read some other books written by this author!

This book is adorable in so many ways but more than that, it’s full of beautiful moments of love and growth.

The ease with which Galvin captures the insecurities of a young person trying to find their way through life and discover who they are is done exceptionally well. The complexity of the main characters in this book, having lived through heavy emotional trauma, and the subsequent attempts to deal with said trauma is written so beautifully.

Sometimes we need to be angry, sometimes we need to admit that we were wrong, and sometimes we need to ask for help. But as Galvin writes in this book: some scars are so deep that the ache never leaves you.

It was always supposed to be Glory and Killian, until that one scandal happened, then the person Glory needed the most became the face of her torment. Hard Feelings is a book riddled with a wide range of emotion from love to hate to regret. Is love enough to repair a broken family? or a broken friendship that was supposed to last even through the turmoil?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book because I understood Glory and her range of emotions. Having the one person who has been by your side since forever turn on you is the hardest and saddest reality you could live in, it hurts even worse when they watch and stand by while others dogpile on you for mistakes that you didn’t make. It’s hard hating someone you will always love and always wanting to reconcile, but ignoring that you don’t or didn’t need to. Glory’s journey through hate, bullying, love, and regret is a journey that made me tear up.

Thank you, NetGalley for the advance copy of Hard Feelings in exchange for my honest review.

This is a best friends to enemies to lovers story about 2 high school seniors.
I’ll start with what I liked:
I liked the family characters and storylines
I liked the friends
I think I liked the overall story? But there were too many issues with the story for me to really like it.

I didn’t like the main characters at all. The FMC has a bit of a victim complex and the MMC was and I’m sorry to say this, boring.
There was just too much description in this book. And not about the storylines etc but little things like the FMC’s diet to prevent her migraines.
I couldn’t root for Glory and Killian because there just seemed to be a bitterness surrounding them.
A generous 1.5 stars for me.

First of all, thank you NetGalley for giving me a chance to review this book. This book was not it. I could barely finish. I was so bored. It was repetitive. I was not anticipating another YA book. Based on the description, I did not think it would involve teenagers inter senior year. Although there was some spice, it was awkward for me because these were teenagers and I just think I'm past reading about teenagers in love or not involve or having sex in cars. I just couldn't.get to liking anyone in the book. Glory loves Killian but constantly compares him to an ex. That was annoying and very "high school." I almost DNF'd this book but I pushed on hoping maybe we could just skip to the good part, but it didn't happen. This was friend to enemies to lovers book but about seniors in high school and I just could not. I don't like that the description said adult fiction when Cleary we were dealing with teenagers.

I enjoyed this! I was expecting a YA novel and this was a bit more spicy than typical YA. It was an original plot and I felt really invested in the characters and their story.

First off I want to thank NetGalley and K.M. Galvin for giving me the opportunity review the eARC on Kindle. This review is 100% my own thoughts.

This book had me reminiscing on my middle school and high school days. I found myself feeling the same exact way that Glory had felt. I found myself blushing, smirking, crying and my husband even caught my mouth hanging wide open in shock. Hard Feelings has been my favorite book of February! I found myself longing to know what was going on in Killian's mind.... longing for a second book like his side of the story. Also the included playlist at the end of the book was complete perfection and I wish that every single author would do this.
EVERY single character in this book is amazing. I NEED more, I need to know if they continue to stay friends while in college, continue to come home during the holidays, talk on the phone when they have the time. Does Glory do well as a big time professional college soccer player? What about Killian? What about Tanner, what is he doing in Washington? How does Korrie grow up? Who does she become? Just so many unanswered questions!
I will be keeping my eyes peeled for more books from K.M. Galvin in the future and will be adding physical copies to my wish lists because I need them on my shelves.

Hey look, I love a best friends-to-enemies-to-lovers story as much as the next girl, but I just couldn't get behind this one. That is so hard to say though, because this really did seem like something I would be into. I see where Galvin was going with this story given all the layers she attempted to put in it, but I think this could have done with a bit of "less is more". For as long as this book was (page wise), I can't help but feel like I got a lot of empty explanations especially in the exposition and beginning of setting the scene for our characters. I couldn't tell exactly where we were going in Killian and Glory's relationship and I was confused as to why exactly there was longing (especially on Glory's end) when there was so much...hostility on the page.

When there is such a questionable set up, it really makes the rest of the reading experience not as enjoyable in my opinion. I couldn't get myself to root for the MCs so the book felt like it was dragging on. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Any book that makes me cry and actually laugh out loud is always a top read for me! Hard Feelings follows Glory and Killian in their journey back to one another and it’s not one you’ll want to miss. This book had me staying up all night to just find out what happens to the characters. Our characters are seniors in high school when the book starts, though you do experience life after senior year with them.

Hard Feelings reads similar to a YA but the content most definitely is not. It is lighthearted while having spice. It is rather quick-paced but leaves you hanging on a thread the entire time. This is definitely in part due to Glory and her twisted life that you become so engrossed in. If you love a good RomCom with spice, definitely give this one a read!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book definitely had a lot of potential, but unfortunately it had several points that didn't work for me. The writing is very fluid and I read it very quickly, my biggest problem was in relation to the construction of Glory, it was difficult to understand her feelings towards Killian. I didn't really like the novel because of that. There are a lot of tropes in this book that I don't like very much, but that's a little more personal. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for providing an arc in exchange for an honest review!

Thanks so much to NetGalley and KM Galvin for the eARC, all opinions expressed are my own!

Glory and Killian are athletes in their own right. Whilst they were close childhood friends, the reveal of the affair between Killian’s father and Glory’s mother tears them apart, with Glory feeling the brunt of the aftermath, spurred on by Killian’s behaviour. As Glory tries to tie up her final year before heading to college, Killian decides to make amends, desperate to get his best friend back.

This was such a super cute book. I loved how Killian worked to get Glory’s forgiveness and the fact that it was not easily granted. I like how Galvin showed the stark difference between the way Killian was treated in the aftermath of the affair, vs. how Glory and her family were treated, despite both being victims of the revelation. Seeing the things Glory went through was absolutely brutal, which only showed how much Killian had to work for. I also loved how Glory was adamant on making Killian follow his dreams despite his dedication to keep Glory as close as possible. Also the way Killian cared for Glory throughout her migraines whilst simultaneously learning how much both have changed during the separation was a great reminder for the characters and their development.

It was such a cute enemies to lovers, second chance romance, I would highly recommend!

A great book and one I would happily recommend. Loved the characters. And felt hooked of where the story would lead

Best friends to enemies to lovers? Count me in 😆 It's totally an exciting trope and one of my favorite.

When I read the early part of Hard Feelings, I have a thought the part when Killian hates Glory was just stated briefly and I take a note I should mention it when I submit my review. But turn out the more I read it the more I understand why Ms. Galvin put it that way.

I can feel the angst in the story. It makes my heart clench so much that I have to stop reading the book several times. But the romance totally makes me smile. And the balance between romance and angst within the story is awesome.

Thank you NetGalley and Ms. K.M. Galvin for giving me the opportunity to review Hard Feelings 😊

Hard Feelings follows Glory and Killian. The two were inseparable, well, until his dad had an affair with her mom and he changed. Once in high school, the two were not speaking. Honestly, Glory was bullied and shamed because her mom’s choices became the talk of the town because Killian’s family is wealthy and well known.
Senior year starts up and Killian decides to change. He misses Glory. Will Glory take him back as her friend or maybe even more?

Honestly, I really liked this. Yes, they’re in high school, but it wasn’t necessarily YA. It was YA with some spice. I did like the plot, but wanted to know more about Killian and Glory during high school. What was his specific behavior towards her? Did he always get upset when people bullied her? It was a cute romance and I’d recommend it to friends.

This book was a wild ride! I may or may not have read it in one day and I am raw. Killian and Glory are something from shakespeare and pretty little liars— the amount of trauma and drama and spice and devotion. I really loved the side characters— Cassidy, Tanner, Marcus, and Glory’s dad and Killian’s mom were a joy to read and provided much comedic and tender hearted relief throughout the book. I really loved Glory and Killian, my heart breaking and mending more times than I can count for both of them. Just a roller coaster of a story that I absolutely loved!
Thank you for the ARC!!!

Thank you to the publisher, author, and bet galley for the opportunity for the arc.

I was intrigued by the description, but fell flat in the writing. Very close to a DNG for me. Overall adolescent story but tried to have adult themes to be considered an adult read. Should be categorized as YA- which doesn’t fit my dynamic.

-Enemies to lovers' trope HUGE PLUS!!!!

K.M Galvin definitely got a new faithful reader because the style of writing and how great this book has definitely got me in love. invested in Glory and Killian's story, needing to see their happy ending. I loved that Glory made Killian work for her forgiveness and didn't just hand it to him. I was immediately invested in Glory and Killian's story, I needed to know if they would have their happy ending. Read on Valentine's Day too so devoured it in just hours!!

[BOOK REVIEW]

▫️Star rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
▫️Spicyness 🌶🌶

First of all, thank you, NetGalley and K.M. Galvin, for this amazing opportunity!

This story is tremendously wonderful. It's the perfect "enemies to lovers" trope. This is the perfect Valentine's Day story and definitely part of my favorite read list for this year.

Killian and Glory are the main characters of this book, and they are just perfect. Seeing them bicker just makes me feel giddy. I cried a little bit because some scenes just broke my heart, but I was swooning till the last page.

I've been reading a lot of fantasy and dark romance books for the past few weeks, and when I pick up this book, I feel so much lighter, and it's not heavy on my heart. This book is just what I need.
I NEED MORE!
Will the twins have their own story too? cuz I seriously don't wait this to end.

And also, one of my favorite author just had a little cameo in the story, making this even more perfect!
