This little book uses a powerful method to teach kids (and probably adults) about the global population, something we need now more than ever. The more we can understand one another, the more we can come together and fix problems that affect people worldwide. By taking large, almost unfathomable numbers and shrinking them to a "village" of 100, the ideas of what our global citizens experience become more manageable and easier to understand.
Although this is a picture book, this is definitely something best used for middle grade students. Lovely job!
