I went with the audio for this one. It had a multi-narrator cast, mostly based on the perspective of the story, and they were pretty much all solid.
This is 10 new short stories from the master of middle grade horror. Again, I’m not really sure on the legality of these things, but I’m always left wondering why all of his stories aren’t under the umbrella of Goosebumps. It’s his signature style anyway.
With that being said, these 10 are spooky, eerie, a little silly, and some even have a blend of scifi. Stine continues to prove that he has quite the imagination, and I loved that these featured an introduction for each story. The intros were even recorded by Stine too, and I love that their inspiration is mostly from his childhood experiences. I just can’t imagine writing that many stories, some of which feature similar ideas and plot lines. Like how do you keep track?
While I wouldn’t necessarily put these on the level of Tales to Give You Goosebumps or the somewhat longer shorts in Goosebumps Triple Header 1, these are still enjoyable stories for a quick little read. I love their covers too.
Overall would be like a 3.5*
Another enjoyable selection of short stories by R.L. Stine. While I love Goosebumps and Fear Street these stories seem extra special with R.L. Stine discussing what is behind each story and how it came to fruition.
This collection of short stories by R.L. Stine was a blast. The format kept me engaged with its varied and creepy tales, offering a range of horror. While some characters were a bit bratty, the stories themselves were captivating.
Such a classic R.L. Stine book, loved it! This book much like all of his other recent releases gave me the wonderful and tingling feeling of nostalgia from beginning to end. A hard copy of this book will for sure have a permanent home on my home library shelf and classroom as well.
As usual, R.l. Stine delivers a collection of fun scary stories. These stories have some great spooky moments without feeling too scary. Another great read for all ages but especially young folks looking for an exciting and scary ride!

10 MORE New Stories by the Master of Scary Tales
by R. L. Stine
I grew up reading Stines scary & thrilling stories and will forever be grateful for having the awesome chance to receive an ARC and then spend several hours reading it with my kiddos. All three of us loved these thrilling short stories as well as the beautifully illustrated book. R. L. Stine is thriller legend and I highly recommend.

Thank you Feiwel & Friends, Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, NetGalley, & the brilliant author R. L. Stine. I’m super appreciative & gave my honest opinion❤️
A fun and quickly read with some spooky thrills that will appeal to kids and nostalgic adults who grew up reading his Goosebumps and Fear Street books. RL Stine has definitely still got it.
I didn't realize this was a collection of stories and it's made all the better for it. They're quick and easy to read and we just got a copy in our library and I raced to check it out because I completely got swamped with the start of the school year and forgot I had requested this as an ARC.
What I really like are how short the stories are, that I can read them to kill time when we finish class early. The most requested is The Thief, which I actually liked best, too. I plan on grabbing another copy so I can keep one in our classroom and return the library's version.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. I hope we get a #3.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the Advanced Readers Copy (ARC) of Stinetinglers 2 by R.L. Stine. I was thrilled to receive this copy for free in exchange for my honest review as I loved reading this author's Fear Street books growing up.
I was delighted with this book because it was super creepy for a kid's book, and it definitely put me in the mood for Halloween. I loved how many, if not all, the stories ended in a cliffhanger because it lets the readers mind wonder what happened.
Four out of five stars is what I gave Stinetinglers 2 by R.L. Stine. This is a great book for kids eight to twelve years old.
This one is of course great since it was written by R.L. Stine. My children read these years ago and this one is as great as the past ones.
Thanks to Feiwel and Friends and to NetGalley for the ARC.
Heck yeah, I'm all in for as many stories as RL Stine will gift us. I can't wait to get a hard copy so that I can start loaning it out.

“Stinetinglers 2: 10 MORE New Stories by the Master of Scary Tales” By R.L. Stine
📕 Edition: Audiobook & eBook
A collection of middle-grade horror stories, offering a taste of the Goosebumps magic. While they're fun and quick reads, the brevity of each tale leaves you craving more.
This spine-tingling collection is perfect for young readers looking to dip their toes into the world of horror. From unexpected zoo encounters to eerie haunted houses, these stories deliver shivers and thrills aplenty. Stine's signature humor shines through in every narrative, making it a treat for both new and devoted fans.
While these stories were a tad too short for me, they manage to capture the essence of what makes R.L. Stine's stories so captivating.
Thank you @NetGalley, @RL_Stine1 and Feiwel & Friends for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Readers who love R.L. Stine’s popular, long-running Goosebumps series will enjoy Stinetinglers 2. It’s Goosebumps-lite, or should I say Goosebumps-short, since Stinetinglers 2 is a collection of scary short stories that channels Goosebumps genre and style.
The book features ten spine-tingling stories. Most are of the “what if” kind, such as what if you could change bodies with someone else for a day, what if kids were the boss of adults, or what if you’re terrified of ghosts and then find out you are one? Most of the stories offer a dash of humor, albeit somewhat dark at times, but nothing a middle-grade or older reader can’t handle.
One of my favorite parts of the book is the story intros, where the author sets the stage for the upcoming story as well as offers a glimpse of where the story idea comes from. It’s an effective, personal touch to better connect with readers.
Obviously, Stinetinglers 2 is recommended reading for Goosebumps and soft-horror fans, but it also may appeal to reluctant readers intimidated by full-length books.
Many thanks to Feiwel and Friends and NetGalley for providing me with an advance copy of this book for review.

Thank you, NetGalley and Feiwel & Friends Books (Macmillan Publishing Group, LLC), for providing me with an eBook of STINETINGLERS 2 at the request of an honest review.
A super fun and quick read! R.L. Stine reminds us that horror can also be fun! I really enjoyed the snippets about what inspired each story, the spooky and twisty stories kept me flying through each story just like when I was still a kid.
Stinetinglers 2 are ten short stories designed to poke you in your Fear bone. R.L. Stine delivers the scares and I was happy to receive them.
I have not read a R.L. Stine book in about 20+ years, and when I saw this, I jumped at the chance to get to read it. These stories take you back to your childhood with nostalgia with his writing. You’ll giggle like a child, you’ll learn lessons with each story - some obvious and others you have to think about more. Kids will absolutely love this. As an adult reading this, I can appreciate being transformed back to simpler times.
Because of the age range recommended for this book, I can absolutely see this as a beginner book for a child wanting to read a bit of a spookier set of stories. And it’s short enough with small chapters to keep children engaged and focused on the story and lesson.
If you know any children ready to delve into spooky season with some R.L. Stine books - this is a fantastic place to start.
GNOMES!
10 R.L. Stine stories for my weirdo inner child and I was blessed with the horror of gnomes! It was like a cherry on top of a book containing so many of my favorite things growing up.
You get some bug horror (I personally love spiders but can totally understand why others don't and content warnings for arachnophobes for Spider Salad), Twilight Zone bines with The Stopwatch, traditional haunted house, and even some after-school=special vibes with lessons learned.
Its good to remember that Stine doesn't really go for horror in his kids books. He said as much in many interviews that he is going for humor that got spooky themes, which I can appreciate in his work. I wouldn't recommend for folks looking for scares but rather for kids who are into weird stuff or adults looking for some nostalgia.
Another Stinetiglers book full of fun 10 short stories by the famous R.L. Stine.
So there are lucky charms, gnomes, a stopwatch, birthday wishes and soooo much more.
These stories were not as spooky as the first book but they were still so much fun to read.
I have loved R.L. Stine's books as a kid and still as an adult. These are made for middle schoolers but I love the Nostalgia feeling that I get from them and since I have been into his books I always have to read his new ones just because that's what I enjoy.
My favorite short story I think had to be The Ghost in the Wall.
I also really enjoyed that R.L. Stine talks a little bit before each new story. Such a great addition to this book. Kinda felt like The Slappy World books where Slappy talks a little bit in the book. So Awesome!
If you want some quick easy reads then this is a book to check out.
I am so glad that I was able to read this book (ARC) early, thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. Above is my review which is honest and voluntary.
Another fun-tastic set of 10 short spine-tingling stories. Read them before bed, if you dare! "The Stopwatch" is one of my favorites from this collection. When the kid in that story gets a stopwatch that freezes time around him, what will he do next? WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley, but was not required to leave a positive review.
R,L, Stine's books have a way of leaving a person of any age uncomfortable or spooked. I highly recommend this book to young readers who are exploring the spooky genre. As a grown-up, I enjoyed the short stories and it took me back to some of my childhood fears.
