I've always loved Daniel Pinkwater and just saying Mrs. Noodlekugel's name makes me laugh. The story is downright funny…. those darn mice who can't seem to see well..

This book, like the first one, failed to impress. While it has a lot of silly moments that will get the younger ones LOLing, I could not enjoy it myself. The illustrations are cute, the silliness a mite overdone, After reading the first book, I believed there was potential in the characters - both animal and human, but this second book disproves the notion. An easy read that can bring laughs to younger audiences for the silliness mentioned, but not a memorable read. 2.5 stars
