I enjoyed every moment reading THE SWEETEST REVENGE! A refreshing and endearing love story about a woman learning to forgive herself and move on in her life by getting out of her own way. The author has a way of making characters so real and relatable yet still entertaining. I love the dynamic between Amy and Jake and their genuine love and support for one another. Now I just wish the series Amy and Jake create and write were real shows to watch!!

This book wasn’t for me. I started reading a few nights ago, made it to about 8%, came back to it and didn’t remember anything about it. Usually I stop reading when that’s the case, but I really liked the premise. After a quick refresher, I made it to 20%, but it wasn’t gripping me. It’s not really memorable. At the point where she drops to her hands and knees to crawl out of the conference room, I threw in the towel. I’m not the right reader. I don’t enjoy weak leads.

Oh Lizzy Dent, I just knew I was giving you another chance for a reason and damn if you didn't nail it. I'm glad I stuck around, but, more importantly, I'm glad I got to meet these characters and spend a little time with them - it was an absolute pleasure.
