I am such a sucker for a foreign horror. Give me somewhere far away and a creepy storyline and I am here for it. This book kept my attention from start to finish and is definitely one I would recommend.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of this book. This was creepy goodness! Such a thrilling story definitely worth getting through some of the slow parts. Highly recommend
Dig Two Graves was a different kind of story than I was expecting when reading the synopsis. That being said, it creeped me out and kept me hooked until the end. There were a few slow parts, but it is definitely worth the read.
Dig Two Graves a novel by Sarah Engell that offers some exciting twists and turns in the plot. The writing style is engaging, and the story keeps you mostly hooked. The characters are well-developed, and their motivations are convincing. However, I found some parts of the book to be a bit slow-paced for my liking. I found it bordering on the horror side of things, which wasn't expected, but definitely welcomed. Overall, Dig Two Graves is a solid thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre, but it falls short of being a standout read.
I thought that Sarah Engell did an outstanding job at making you believe what was happening was not real. I thought that this story was more of a horror story than a crime story. I was convinced when the child was taken from the school it was darker than just a crime story. Things were not always happening with police the way they should have. It did work out as they planed with her family in the end. Just not the way you'd expect.
