Girl Power is an adorable book with engaging text. I enjoyed the message behind the text and the affirmations at the end were fun. I think any little girl who enjoys Sesame Street will love this cute, rhyming book.

Girl Power by Erin Guendelsberger is the best children's book of the year by far. Featuring everyone's favorite Sesame Street characters, Girl Power is full of amazing affirmations that will encourage young readers to be true to themselves. Told in delightful rhymes and accentuated by adorable illustrations, this book is empowering and important. Girl Power is a must-have for elementary school libraries and for every little girl's bedtime story collection.

This book is sweet and encouraging with plenty of solid affirmations. It's a bit generic, and there is no actual storyline, but it is still specific about ways a girl can be each of the characteristics given. And I found I wanted a bit more, more words and traits. The illustrations are gorgeous and bright. My 4-year-old daughter likely won't grab for this one repeatedly, but it was still a good read a couple times for her.

A great book all about what girls can do featuring characters from Sesame Street! This book would be great for any children who love Sesame Street, but others can enjoy it too!
