This is an incredibly well-researched and thorough account of the history of personality disorders. While I did enjoy the subject matter, this is not one of those books that fans of non-fiction could just pick up and enjoy. It read a bit like a textbook, and I felt it lacked a personal touch that would pull in non-academia based readers. That being said, it is a book I would recommend to those who are interested in the field of psychology and history.
