Snoodles in Space: A Snoodle, the Zoodle Kidoodles, and One Happy Schmoodle by Steven Joseph is a delightful and imaginative children's book that takes young readers on a captivating journey through outer space. With its engaging storytelling, vibrant illustrations, and valuable life lessons, this wackadoodle tale sparks the imagination and leaves children eagerly awaiting more adventures with Snoodles.
It is no wonder why Steven Joseph's books received the prestigious Mom's Choice Gold Award. He never ceases to create such refreshing (and tongue twisting) stories and books. Snoodles in space is a great story to tell kids not only during bedtime but any time of day.
I like how this book teaches a vital lesson to families and siblings. Education begins at home, and having these types of stories with lessons embedded in them solidifies that.
Delightful, especially when read aloud. Has much of the same sort of rhyming feel of Dr Seuss, but it is also a fable of helping and getting along with others – from the family to the entire planet.
Also, the author carefully credited all involved in creation of the book including the illustrator as well as his high school and family.
The artwork is at least as important to this story as the text, and is both illustrative of the story and pleasing to the eye.
Snoodles in Space is a wacky and fun read for kids who like to be silly! It's a children's book that I don't mind reading over and over because the illustrations are wonderful and the story is exciting. I recommend for families that are tired of the same old books and need to switch it up with a book that's going to captivate young readers.
