What a fantastic read for Disney fans and Disney parks fans of all ages! Many have a particular fondness for the haunted mansion specifically (me). I felt this was a fun and easy to read paranormal young adult fiction (not so spooky). It has steady tie ins to elements of the actual attraction, yet with its own unique story line. The main character is very likeable yet the exploration of the character is not too deep. It paints the characters of the mansion in a positive light, so is not too scary for a young reader. Plot moved at a nicely quickened pace, with enough action to keep my ADHD attention. Really fun read!!

Everything I wanted from a Haunted Mansion book and more! Perfect for teens who like scary books and or Disney Parks. The vibe is perfect, the setting delicious, and if you are a fan of the ride- there are tons of Easter Eggs for you. Read on, foolish mortal, if you dare . . .

Wild ride through the paranormal and normal worlds. Really interesting to watch the teen dating "over protectiveness" be seen for what the behavior really was. I'll be handselling to both YA and Paranormal readers.

If you're into the Haunted Mansion and books that skew to a younger YA audience, this is for you. The layout of the house is a little hard to envision, but there are lots of Easter eggs about Madame Leota, the wallpaper, and even the colors of Audrey's school uniform. The MC is dealing not only with ghosts, but moving to a new school and navigating debilitating anxiety. Was not a huge fan of the boyfriend in this book though. Sterling, however . . . I liked him immediately.

For fans of the Haunted Mansion or fans of fairly mild MG horror but with teen main characters, this was a fun book.

"The Haunted Mansion" has forever been my favorite Disney parks ride of all time. To say I was ecstatic to see this book on Netgalley would be an understatement.. I absolutely loved this book! I have read it twice so far and look forward to a third. It brings the mystery of The Haunted Mansion alive in a different life with an original story fans are sure to love.

I may be a bit biased but I absolutely love all things Haunted Mansion, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one! It was a full bodied *wink* mystery with a New Orleans backdrop and a plot that moved along at a perfect pace. I adored the main character. This one will appeal to both older middle grade and teen readers, as well as a short nice book for adults to enjoy. Especially if you love the Haunted Mansion, and want to know more about the spooky specters who's stories we have yet to hear. I loved it, highly recommend!

This was a great mystery read and it was great reading a little more about some of the ghosts that reside in the Haunted Mansion. I liked that the book included a little history of one of the less familiar stories that happened in New Orleans.

A great mystery and ghost story! I would happily recommend this to Disney fans of all ages! I highly recommend this! I'm hoping there will be more in the series...

I loved this book. Anything involving the Haunted Mansion has always been a favourite of mine, and this did not disappoint. I loved the main character Audrey and the personal growth she went through, and I loved the spooky setting of the Haunted Mansion. I felt the story came to a very satisfying conclusion at the end. It was a good read the whole way through. I can’t wait to read this one again before Halloween this year!

I am, first and foremost, a Haunted Mansion enthusiast. I absolutely eat up every time it gets a different adaptation and I was so excited to get an ARC of The Haunted Mansion: Storm & Shade! Claudia Gray was an incredible choice of an author for this book. She captured the tone and the atmosphere so well. I had a fun and spoooky time with this book! Absolutely recommend!!
