I adore poetry, and whenever I find a book, I have the potential to give kids a fun introduction, I get giddy.

This is one such book.

To quote Gorgia Heard, " Hail to the hair-raising, hideous, weird and wild."

The book’s aesthetic is truly beautiful. As someone who doesn’t typically read a lot of poetry, I was drawn to its charm. The soft watercolor illustrations complement the overall vibe of the book perfectly. The poems themselves are written in short free verse form, which adds to their appeal. My favorite poem was from “Room of Science.”

In conclusion, Welcome to the Wonder House is a delightful book that combines poetry with exploration. Its elegant illustrations and thought-provoking verses make it a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration and wonder in their lives.

This was very cute. I nice read for children and families. I could also see this being adopted for some psychotherapy sessions as well.

A very, very beautiful and different book that encourages the reader to be creative and curious and to pay attention to all the wonders in our world and ask questions. Something that both children and adults alike needs to be reminded of sometimes.

The poems are short, meaningful and easy to read and understand, and I imagine this book will work well both for beginner readers and to be read out loud. I believe it could really spark a few conversations and discussions while or after reading.

The writing accompanied by the most gorgeous of illustrations truly makes this book a wonder to read - for children and adults alike.

A beautiful book with poems about nature and science to capture childrens attention! The illustrations are interesting and different and yet calming and beautiful all at the same time. The colors invite a sense of calm warmth while also invoking the sense of wonder that the book strives to bring. The poetry is perfect for children, not too intimidating, but also not so simple that it is boring or insulting. It is simply beautiful!

The metaphor of exploring a concept in a room is a brilliant structure for these poems. The mood is set as you enter each room by the title and impressionistic art. Once inside, settle in for a word treat, allowing you to create more images in your mind. Pure enjoyment.

This is a sweet, short book of poetry for children around the topic of wondering about science and nature. The poems tend towards short and free verse, and multimedia art (it appears to be digital) accompanies the poetry. None of the poems really spoke to me but your little one may enjoy them and the book has a lovely tone.

This is a wonderful collection of poems. The illustrations are gorgeous. The way the words are arranged are best described as classic and beautiful. Each poem creates imagery that can bring peace and wonder to an everyday world. I highly recommend for a classroom.

I can't decide whether this might hold more merit without the clumsy formatting of Kindle. Some of the poems are excellent and very moving, but others seem like nothing more than wistful contemplation.

“I wonder if someone is watching me wondering?”

I don't know why I expected this to be a book with the answers of mysteries or facts. So when I get some poetry I was a little off.

It's wonderful illustrated. i loved every color, texture and draw.

The poems also where very beautiful. I think Room of mystery is my favorite room and poems.

My advice is to read each room for day and not everything at once, this way the book will be more enjoyable.

Thank you NetGalley and Astra Publishing House for the chance to read this very sweet book!

I don't know if I'm the right person to review this, I definitely missed the bit where it was for younger readers! That being said, I think the authors put in a lot of effort into this very bright and pretty book. There was a lot in there to encourage little ones to explore and think about different things!
