A big thanks to Netgally, the book publisher and author Sarah for the before release copy of this book.
I enjoyed the social media elements to the story and characters. It was nice to read a mystery with current vibes for a change from old language and feel.
My suggestion would be to have some kind of introduction at the start as being a 2nd book of a series I felt there needed to be character build up plus a recap and information about book 1 for those whom haven't read book 1.
I only became aware on goodreads that it was a series and because of no character build up and story build up it took my a few attempts to get into reading it and this would have made it easier for me. Just something to keep in mind for future.
Once the story got rolling I got more into the story and enjoyed the read.

Thank you Sarah E. Burr and Level Best Books for the advanced reader copy of #TagMe for Murder.

This novel was an absolute joy of a who done it mystery. I, unfortunately, went into this novel without reading the first novel in this series, however, you do not need to read the first novel to enjoy this one. This story follows or FMC Coco who is a Social Media Engagement Manager, as well as a personal blogger and influencer. Her tenacity and flair is what made this novel so enjoyable.

Some people do not like bringing in social media to novels, as they can find it cringey and annoying, however, I found the social media influence throughout the novel to be the largest driving force of the story and the flow of the novel. My only criticism would be the repetitive nature of Coco’s struggle with her social media issue. I found it to be annoying after the first few mentions and it was the same topic appearing in almost every chapter till about 80% of the way through, where we finally focus on the mystery solely.

Overall, I found this novel to be engaging and creative. I was not able to guess the ending, which is always a plus to me!

Great cast of characters that you can relate to and find likable. Tag Me for Murder is the first in what I hope is a long series of quick witted charm and entertainment

Well after reading "#FollowMe for Murder" last year, I knew as soon as I saw this second book pop up I wanted to read it. What's nice is that you don't technically have to read the first one before reading this new one. And I was not disappointed either! There's just something about the way this author writes that gets you sucked in to the story and characters almost immediately. Of course, Jasper is in my favorite, but I really enjoy all the characters. I like the small town beach feel and I really like that we follow the main character through even the small details of her days. This book really has it all, humor, love, and of course MURDER! It's the ultimate who-done-it. I promise you that you won't be disappointed in this book. Very easy read and I am already anticipating the next one.

This was very cozy. A little silly. But overall I had a good time. I hadn’t read the previous books in the series but that only impacted the first part of the story. After a few pages, it was easy to understand.

A little hard for me to get into considering I had not read the first book in the series but once I got to about page 50 or 60 I was thoroughly invested and finished the book quickly. Will definitely read more from this author in the future!

This is a modern cozy mystery. Coco tries to solve a local murder of a man everyone hated. The story was enjoyable and I really liked the pop culture references. However I didn’t enjoy the ending. It came out of left field and there weren’t really clues leading up to it. As a reader I want to at least have the possibility of solving the mystery (even though I’m usually wrong).

Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Cozy, cute murder mystery.

The cover of the book completely caught my attention… it gave me beach read vibes and it did not disappoint!
The book was fun and quirky… I loved all of the characters and they were very relatable… I wish I had friends like Jasper and Charlotte.
When I first started the book, I thought it would be a very predictable murder but it was not, at all! I continued reading thinking I’d figure it out but the murder and motive was completely out of left field!
I loved Coco. Her social media sleuthing skills and her love for CrimeJunkie… all me!
Thank you NetGalley.

#TAGME FOR MURDER is the second book in the Trending Topic Mystery series by Sarah E. Burr. The author has found her stride in this newest release and the fast-paced plot held my interest throughout the story. The protagonist, Coco, is sure to appeal to not only well-versed readers of cozy mysteries, but should attract younger generations with her tech savvy and social media lifestyle. I also appreciated the close friendships she has and their efforts to work together to solve the death of Coco’s nasty, misogynistic next-door neighbor, after her best friend is accused of the murder. Some humor is interjected with the appearance of Coco’s mother and her attempts to help her daughter investigate, which I appreciate. Ms. Burr does an admirable job in portraying Coco’s skills as a social media marketing guru and how she combines those skills to find the killer. With plenty of suspects to keep the reader guessing, the clues are sprinkled throughout for a sharp reader to follow. As the story concluded, all my questions were answered, and the pieces fell into place. #TagMe For Murder is a terrific addition to an entertaining series!

I was provided with an advance copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love Coco! Cozy mysteries are quickly becoming my go-to for fun reads, and this one was top notch! I loved that it had a millennial vibe to it. Instead of a small town librarian/baker/etc., Coco is an influencer/social media expert. This has all the basic cozy elements with all the pop culture that we love. A major win! I just downloaded book 1 in the series and I can’t wait to read it! I’m hoping for more from Coco and her gang of friends!

This publishes 4/25!

I received an advanced copy. All thoughts are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley and Level Best Books for the Advanced E-copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. This was another super fun cozy mystery following our favorite lifestyle influencer, Coco and her wholly supportive and equally successful friends. The setting of this book couldn’t be better for a cozy mystery. This small beach town is once again in trouble when a government auditor, who can’t seem to keep him hands or comments to himself, is found dead. While the police of course have asked Coco to stay out of it, she gets in way too deep then legally necessary, and of course uncovers a lot of clues due to her social media saavy. While this read was really fun, I just thought overall there was a lot going on for a cozy but still a fun read and I’ll be excited to read what happens next with Coco and her friends.

This is a good cozy mystery. The second in a series, it does take a minute to learn all the characters, but can definitely be read as a standalone. I liked the clever ways Coco searched for answers in the latest murder in her town.

I really enjoyed this murder mystery! Coco is a fun and tenacious main character. Not only is the murder investigation interesting the side stories with her friends and boyfriend really keep the story moving. This was my first book in the series but had no issues jumping in. I look forward to reading the first book in the series and future books!

This is the second boom in the “Trending Topic Mystery” however I read this as a stand-alone. I did struggle to get into this and learn who was who and how everyone was related to each other but that is on me. The book itself was really well written, a fun cosy mystery with a cute group of friends. This is a really easy read and if you want to read a chill mystery I recommend this,

Thank you, NetGalley and Level Best Books for this ARC.

This book is the 2nd one in a new cozy mysteries series. I didn't read the first one so there was a little bit of a struggle getting to know the charcters. I pretty much struggled reading it and probably won't read this series again. I usually love reading mysteries but b this one isn't one that I'd recommend. I am glad I gave it a try though.

3.5 ⭐️ This is the second book in the Trending Topic Mysteries. It’s starts shortly after the first book following our main bestie Coco Cline right into “the best summer of her life”. You get a small summary of what happened in the first book within the first 2% of the book to refresh and it was enough info to not feel lost if you haven’t read it.

This book gives me gossip girl and the clique books vibes. Its definitely a cozy mystery with the amateur sleuth, unlikable character murdered, and the cute small town. There are a lot of pop culture references that may not stand the test of time but I think it’s the perfect book to pick up for your next vacation read!

I was super excited to start this book, and was even more excited with the Only Murders in the Building vibes, and a T Swift shout out to start things off! While I really enjoyed my journey through the book, I was honestly disappointed with the final outcome... I felt like the "big reveal" was underwhelming and not as jaw dropping as I expected after the whole book being about what a shit Larry was. I was not able to guess the outcome, which I guess was a positive. But, there were so many better ending options, IMO. I still enjoyed the book and would read another by this author.
I would call this book a light hearted mystery and it was a very quick read. Rating 3.5 stars because I was pretty let down with the ending of the book.
I was given this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for choosing me to do so.

Setting the Scene: Coco, social media influencer extraordinaire, is living her best life with a devoted and successful boyfriend, her best friends living nearby, and new opportunities on the horizon. Then the Dunmers move in next door. One would be hard pressed to find more unpleasant neighbors, and then there is Mr. Dunmers' tendency to hit on every woman within his vicinity. When Dunmers is found dead after a very public altercation with Coco's best friend, Jasper, Coco is compelled to investigate to use her considerable technical savvy to clear her BFF's name.

What I Thought: This is a feel good cozy with likeable characters, interesting plot and sub-plots, humor, and that camaraderie I crave in cozies. The relationship between Coco and Hudson is strong and built on mutual respect and affection, making it an even more enjoyable read. Since Coco is a social media influencer and advisor, there is a bit of a Gen X/Gen Z vibe, but it in no way deters this Boomer. The book also handled the often abused topic of sexual harassment well, spotlighting both male and female offenders, as well as best practices for resolution. It's true. Coco definitely makes some bad choices, occasionally neglects her livelihood, and continues sleuthing when the police have things in hand, but her self deprecating acknowledgement that she is doing just that somehow mitigates any issues with what might otherwise be annoying behaviors. I found this book a delightful read and look forward to the next time.

Thanks to NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion

#tagme for murder follows coco cline solve a murder mystery within her small town with the help of her friends. I really enjoyed this cosy mystery it had the perfect amount of lightheartedness and angst throughout the book. I loved the friendships the characters had and the love they had for each other came through really well. As much as I didn’t guess who the murderer was I didn’t feel like there was enough clues and when you think Cocos investigating is going somewhere it ends up at a dead end, but I was still throughly invested in the story. This is the second book within the #trendingtopicsmystery series but I wasn’t lost at all and will go on to read the first book as I enjoyed this one.
