#TagMe for Murder is the perfect second book in "A Trending Topic Mystery" series. It was great to return to Central Shores and reconnect with Coco, Jasper, Charlotte, Hudson, and all the others. In this installment, Coco's less-than-amiable-neighbor Larry is discovered murdered on the beach after a VIP wine event. Unfortunately, the murder weapon points at Jasper as the prime suspect. Coco finds herself, once again, "aiding" the police in the investigation to ensure her bestie doesn't find himself in prison.
#Tagme for Murder has everything one will want in a feel-good, cozy mystery: small town, close-knit community, trusting friend group, and intriguing mystery. I'm already excited to see what Coco gets up to in book three!
Release Date: April 25, 2023

Coco Cline is back in the investigative game when her unlikable neighbor and town auditor Larry ends up dead with a corkscrew to the neck. The twist, it has her best friends name engraved on it…Jasper Hastings. Sure Jasper had a heated argument with Larry but that doesn’t mean he killed him, right? Coco will use everyone one of her online influencer skills to clear Jaspers name, but will the murderer start trending or will it be Cocos demise?
This is the second book in the #trendingtopicsmystery series. I am absolutely in love with the series, I even paused another book I was reading to jump into this one! Coco is back and even has a slightly new sidekick, who I am very glad to see from book #1. @authorsaraheburr this book is full of warmth, justice and social commentary. I have no idea how you managed to address such serious topics in such a fun, can’t-put-it-down book but you made it work. I am legitimately counting down the days until book #3. @levelbestbooks you clearly have a hit series on your hands with #trendingtopics mystery series! (Also I love the cover art, it makes the book feel like the curated instas that coco is alway talking about). #perfectbeachbook is an understatement, run to your local bookstore and grab this one!
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

This was such a fun murder mystery! I enjoyed reading this book and the suspense had me in a chokehold. 🔪
It’s the second book in The Trending Topic series and it follows Coco Cline and her friends. They live in the same neighborhood and have mutual enemies, Larry and Rosalynn Bunmer. The group saw them last at an event but only one of them returned alive..
I liked the small town aspect about it and I was invested in the characters.
This would be a good beach/summer read. ☀️
Thank you to Sarah E. Burr, Level Best Books and Netgalley for providing me with this arc. All opinions are my own.
Coco is now running her empire and working with the local police as part of her CoA duties. When a state auditor, who was also her neighbor, is found murdered and Jasper is the main suspect, Coco adds her sleuthing hat into the rotation.
While NO ONE liked Larry Dunmer, Coco is certain Jasper did not do the man in, but who did? Needing more than just hearsay and gut feelings, Coco needs to find the murder and get the proof to save her life long friend, or she’ll be pulled under herself.
This is the second book in the series and it’s even better than the first! The author does a great job at using Social Media, User names/handle and such to build into the mysteries and her characters really come to life. This is a greatly enjoyable series based in the fictional seaside town of Central Shores, Delaware and a visit to the shore is ALWAYS a good thing!
Coco is just a character that everyone can relate to and love! Coco is pulled in by the police which has consequences she doesn’t need nor want! Absolutely loved this book from start to finish and can’t wait for more!
Thanks to Level Best books and NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.
I read the first book in the Tag Me for Murder series last year, and was so excited to see all of our favorite characters back again.
This time Coco Cline our favorite influencer, marketing extraordinaire, and murder sleuth is back in action after another murder in their small beach town. Cocos new neighbor Larry moved in at the beginning of summer and has been causing havoc ever since. His job as a state auditor also didn’t earn him any fans. After an opening night event for one of Cocos clients, Larry is found dead on the beach. What begins as a murder mystery for local police, Coco soon inserts herself in the middle to try and find the killer; and also clear the name of her best friend Jasper.
Filled with fun and sweet moments between this large group of friends we’ve come to know and love makes this such a fun read. And of course the added bonus of seeing if Coco can solve another small time murder, kept me eagerly turning the pages.
I’m already hoping for a third book in this series!
Fun, lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing and characters that are enjoyable. Coco is a very up to date social media character. I can see traits of her in the young girls that we know. The mystery this time hits close to home with Jasper in the headlights. I love Sarah E. Burr's writing style. For a fun afternoon read or down by the beach this book is perfect. You don't have to read the first in the series to follow this one but it's also a great read. Thanks #netgalley and #LevelBestBooks for the eARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are mine.
Gotta love a mystery where the main character is a social media person and can solve a crime better than the police lol. I didn't realize this was the second in a series, but it made me want to go back and read the first one. This was a light, low-stakes, funny mystery that was an enjoyable read. It was a bit unrealistic and took me a little while to get into, but when the sleuthing started happening, it was fun to follow along and try to figure out who did it (and I didn't really expect who it was).
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!
I was so excited to have Coco and her group of friends back in action. I love Coco’s love for those that surround her and how she never gives up to help those that she cares about. This time around Coco is bogged down with work and it all starts with the opening of one of her clients stores. While at the grand opening her terrible neighbors Larry and Ros start a scene with Coco, Jasper and Charlotte. Let’s just say the night doesn’t end well for Larry and Coco and team must band together to find out what happened.
Love love these books and getting swept away with their mayhem.
Thank you #NetGalley for the advanced copy

💛 Thank you to @netgalley for the #ARC.
This was a really cute read! When I picked it up I didn’t realize that it was for the 2nd in the series, but I don’t really think that matters. I think you’d have a little bit more background if you’d read the first book but having not read it didn’t impact the story because the author gives enough background that you can read this as a stand-alone.
I think Covo and her friends have a fun relationship and the way the story navigates their life while they try to solve a murder was a really fun read.
I don’t want to give to much away but if you’re looking for a fun summery mystery (that’s pretty cozy) this is a must for your TBR list.
Very cute and easy to read book. I was able to read it in one go and enjoyed reading about the characters.
Cute book with some well done characters. It was an easy ready that went by fast. Enjoyable from start to finish. Perfect for a pool side or beach day read.
I received this advanced copy from NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I love cozy mysteries. They’re always fun, and I fall in love with the cast of characters. Sarah E. Burr’s #TagMe For Murder hit all the right notes for me. It was funny; it was light; the stakes were medium, and the characters were like having some friends over to hang out.
#TagMe is the second book in Burr’s Trending Topic Mysteries series, which follows Coco Cline, a social media specialist and influencer as she plays amateur detective when she inadvertently finds herself in the middle of murder cases.
I have not read the first book in the series, #FollowMe For Murder, but I didn’t feel lost. In fact, reading this one has made me want to go back and read the first book in the series!
#TagMe took me a little while to get into, but once we were sleuthing along with Coco, it became hard to put down. I needed to know “whodunit.” Coco and Hudson are a delightful couple and I really enjoyed their interactions, as well as the interactions Coco had with Jasper. I felt there were just enough characters to make it interesting, but not too many to not remember who each character was.
The mystery was typical of a cozy, and I honestly did not know “whodunit” until Coco began putting the puzzle together near the end, which I loved. Usually, in some cozies, you can figure out who the perpetrator is early on. I loved that it kept me guessing.
If you’re looking for a fun beach read, I highly recommend you check out this book. Maybe even start with the first book, I’m sure you won’t regret spending more time with Coco and her crew
First off- thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to read this arc!
At first I was really into this book, so many twists and turns you didn’t know where it would take us. And involving the best friend?! Crazy.
However as I kept reading it just felt like we kept getting to dead ends, Leo’s suggesting nope not this character, not this one. There was no hints or anything that lead to the actual murderer. It came out of left field. Which would be fine but I like to have some clues.
I did like the small town feel, as well as the personalities of everyone. The storyline was good. Just wish it would’ve ended differently and not so drawn out
This was good. Perfect for a sunny day lounging by the pool or on the beach and just get lost in it.

This book was not my favourite and a little slow for me. The characters just fell flat for me and I wasn't really interested in the mystery.
Thank you for allowing me to read this before it came out!
I really enjoyed this book, it took me a bit to get into it but once I did, it was a cute fun read! It kept me guessing throughout, I never guessed the murdered until it was revealed, which surprised me as I thought it was going to be predictable. Happy to have been wrong!
I loved the relationship CoCo had with her friends and how much she loved and wanted to protect them. You could feel that coming through. I also enjoyed her honesty on fame.
I think this is a perfect beach read!
I really enjoyed this read. Thank you net galley for letting me read it early ! The plot was great, it kept me guessing who it was till the end. First book I have read by this author! I didn’t know this was the second in the series, I’m going to have to look up the first one now!
