Jonathan and Tabitha share a complicated history. Jonathan is a Navy SEAL, while Tabitha works as a DEA Agent. When their team faces internal betrayal, Tabitha becomes their best hope in clearing Jonathan's name through her investigation. However, her discovery of being pregnant with Jonathan's child prevents her from assisting him. Now, both she and the baby are potential targets, and Jonathan must ensure their safety. This well-crafted and captivating story revolves around a suspenseful romance, featuring strong chemistry between the main characters. As they work together to solve the puzzle of their case, their personal relationship begins to unravel. Overall, it is an engaging and enjoyable read.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. this is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. This was a cute story. More believable than some. It has likeable characters and amazing friends. This is a romance, mystery and a bit of suspense. 4 stars

This is the 6th book in the “Hartsville’s SEAL Hero Series”. Leslie North writes the best Navy SEALs books. I so enjoy reading about these super sexy alpha SEALs. The romantic journey of Jonathan and Tabitha. This is an entertaining easy quick read that has its share of drama, action packed, danger, intrigue, great characters and a plot that held me captive. Jonathan is super sexy alpha Navy SEAL and Tabitha is a DEA agent. Jonathan and Tabitha share some very interesting history. A mission that has gone wrong when Sebastian is killed leaving Matthew injured and Jonathan is being charged. Tabitha finds herself back in Jonathan life as she is trying to help clear his name. As Tabitha is working hard to help clear Jonathan’s name the two finding themselves growing closer and Tabitha learns she is pregnant with Jonathan’s child. If it is found out that Tabitha is pregnant she will no longer be able to work on clearing Jonathan’s name. As thing progress and Tabitha seems to be in danger and Jonathan’s focus is on keeping Tabitha and his unborn child safe.

Can Tabitha and Jonathan clear his name, was Jonathan setup, has Tabitha uncovered something that should have been kept a secret, can Jonathan keep Tabitha and his child safe

This romantic is amazing. Two careers dictated by their parents. Now Jonathan and Tabitha have to make their own decisions about their future plans.

Jonathan 'is army investigation is taking longer than anticipated. Tabitha is behind him all the way. There a few twists turns which eventually lead to good conclusion. Another good read from Leslie North.

What a great finish The SEAL's Hookup is to the Hartville's SEAL Heroes series. I will say that I found the name to be a bit confusing, because there was history between Jonathan and Tabitha. So it wasn't an insta-love but a second chance at love. Normally, I prefer the suspense part of Leslie North's books, but in this one I really enjoyed the romance much more. The suspense to me was quite predictable, so it didn't hold my interest much. It wasn't bad, just not as good as some of her other's. This is a solid read and I can absolutely recommend. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy.

I loved this last book. Such a great way to end this series.
Jonathan and Tabithaa were in love once, but their careers took them in different directions. When they meet up once more, sparks still fly. But, clearing his name is her priority, or should be. But some unexpected news sends all their laid out life plans into a spin.
Great story of love, friendship, second chances, and compromise.
Highly recommend this book and series.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This final book in Leslie North's 6-book Hartsville's SEAL Heroes series is a pleasant story if not a particularly exciting one. It tells the second-chance story of SEAL leader Jonathan, under suspicion of botching the mission that killed another SEAL and seriously hurt several others (including book 5's hero, Matthew) and DEA agent Tabitha. The two had been together more than a decade ago before their careers took them in different directions. Tabitha had been in Colombia during the mission too; she and Jonathan shared a comfort hookup soon after. Then she returned to her investigation while he found himself cooling his jets in Hartsville awaiting the results of the same investigation. She eventually comes to him in Hartsville to drop a baby bombshell. (What is it with SEALs and unexpected babies, BTW?) She's also there to continue her investigation, away from threats that she'd recently received about stopping.

Anyway, I don't need to rehash the plot. It's split fairly equally between baby/relationship worries and investigating. The true story about the mission is pretty easy to figure out and resolves way too seamlessly, but the baby/relationship element is much more realistically played out.

Both Jonathan and Tabitha are strong individuals, and I really like how Tabitha is able to be committed to both her job and the baby. Jonathan isn't much different. Both seem interested in figuring out a win-win solution but are not all that smart in being able to find one that works. It takes a little parent-inspired soul searching, but they eventually get there.

Do the two have chemistry? Eh, maybe? They seem a little more like what they are: two people with a long history, comfortable with themselves and with each other. It isn't unrealistic that they enjoy intimacy but don't feel the need to boink in every available surface.

Fans of the series will love the epilogue as it gives a glimpse of his all their favorite Hartsville SEAL families have settled into the future.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the publisher and Netgalley. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

Jonathan and Tabitha spend one night together after returning from a mission in Columbia. Even though they have history, that one night doesn't reignite their long dormant romance. Three months later, Jonathan is still in limbo waiting for the Navy to finish their investigation about the mission gone wrong in Columbia. He is starting to believe that he is being railroaded but he doesn't know what to do about it. Tabitha has been working tirelessly on her end to try to prove that what went wrong was not Jonathan's fault. She finds herself in danger and runs to Jonathan for support. The two of them soon realize that maybe those old feelings aren't gone.

Both Tabitha and Jonathan are pigheaded. At times I found their actions annoying, but the author did a nice job of showing how they realized that their determination to get their way might not be the best in the end. They worked together to solve the mystery while at the same time fighting through their history to determine if they could become a couple again. The fact that Tabitha is pregnant only plays a role in their character arcs in as much as they know going into the situation that they are stuck with each other forever whether they are a couple or not. The bad guy was good even if somewhat predictable. I liked the fact that the characters from the prior stories made appearances.

This is a contemporary military, small town, Federal agent, second chance romance. If you want a nice series to read, I recommend giving this one a try. All of the stories are quick reads that tie together. I will read more from this author in the future.

I did not expect this the be the last book in the series. I'm bummed that it's over but loved the ending. Jonathan's story is great. Maybe it's because it has so many of the past characters in it. Tabitha is pretty bad ass as a DEA agent. She's pregnant though so Jonathan watches out for her a little closer. Good thing too, there is a lot of danger and suspense.

I am very much enjoying this series and getting to know all these Seals and their families. I like the small town community and closeness of these characters. I loved Jonathan and Tabitha's story. These two had history where being to strong willed people they decided they couldn't make it as a couple. After being pulled back together to investigate a mission gone wrong old feelings resurface and they find they have more than the investigation to deal with. This book involves characters from the first books and it's really great to catch up with them. I really enjoyed this series
