Having not read the first book to this follow up 24 Hours in Paris, I was worried I would be out of the loop on the characters and considering its a romance, feeling left out on the romance. However, when I started this book, the tension and desire between Mira and Jake was palpable. I immediately felt that these two characters were special to each other and I felt the angst right away. The setting of the Amalfi coast where Mira and Jake reunite after two years, was the dreamiest backdrop for the continuation of their story. As I got to know Mira, she became a character I related so much to which is always appreciated as a reader. This story was fun, emotional, fast paced yet provided the sweetest stolen moments. The side characters were lovely and supported both Mira and Jake while being on their own journeys. Like Kwento and Ricardo and Dembe and Eloise. All in all, I devoured this book in 24 hours and it was the perfect backyard, summer read. 4 stars!

Book Review: 24 Hours in Italy by Romi Moondi. I read this back in May and it’s one of those fun, beachy, romance reads. It continues the love story of Mira and Jake that started in 24 Hours in Paris. I enjoyed the depictions of food and scenery and definitely can’t wait to visit Italy myself one day. Overall, it’s a quick romance read but not much depth to the story. Thanks to @netgalley and Wattpad Bills for the free arc. This book publishes July 18th!

This book is difficult to review. I think it is well written, and the setting is glorious. It's Italy, so it should be!
I liked the character of Jake. He seemed like a person I'd know in real life, genuine yet flawed.
But Mira is the problem. I think I'm supposed to genuinely like her, and feel for her, and understand and love her. But she's just so unlikable.
"She longed for and dreaded his words in equal measure." (251)
The worst part is, I don't think she's supposed to be. Sorry, Mira, but it's a no from me.

I loved the chemistry between Mira and Jake. They obviously had very strong feelings for each other, even after all that time.
I do wish they had simply communicated more. Mira’s existential crisis as far as why she feared a relationship seemed a bit far fetched for me. And the back and forth on how both of them felt for each other was hard to follow at times.
Regardless, I loved this story. It was such a beautiful setting, full of fun and complex characters. You do not need to read the first book to get into this one.

I thought the book was sweet and i had a good time reading it. jake and mira had great chemistry and i didn’t get bored with them. it also made me wanna visit italy IMMEDIATELY. i am glad i got to read it.

I adored 24 Hours in Paris. And now it’s time for the amazing sequel 24 Hours in Italy by Romi Moondi.
I really enjoyed reading the second book.
It is well written with an interesting storyline. The personalities, thoughts and emotions of the characters are clearly depicted.
Romi Moondi writes in such a way that the characters feel very real.
A heart warming story that pulled me in and swept me away.

Thank You NetGalley and Wattpad Books for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

I really enjoyed this book, but I didn't agree with a lot of the Mira's decisions. I thought that the characters were extremely well written and they slow burn was perfectly paced. The real winner is the descriptions of the Amalfi Coast! It really felt like I was there with them! The food sounded delicious, and the description made it feel like I was eating it myself.
Overall, this book is good. I enjoyed it. I thought it should have moved a little quicker, but not fast. I also think it should be the second book In a series as opposed to A standalone with other books in the series. I felt quite left out at parts.
Thank you Netgalley and Rome Moondi for the opportunity to read this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

A very easy read, great book to read while on holiday. Great descriptions Italy, seemed to drag on a little with the will they, won't they, likeable character.

I have to admit knowing this was a second book really bugged me, but also being able to read the first book as a prequel isn't the worst thing, she did bring up the first book, but always give the context so you are not left wondering. In honesty, it was a good read and honestly the definition of a slow burn but with a pinch of unrequited love feelings. It is a bit of a longer read (357 pgs) and for me personally, it took me a second to finish it, and I didn't get fully invested until maybe Chapter Sixteen when they were resolving. It did bug me that Mira technically had a date (even if they weren't official) she was still having these very deep feelings for Jake (yes she did break it off before anything got serious but still...). My biggest thing was how quickly Mira forgave and took back Jake, I won't say anything more than that. It was a very sweet ending and it was a very nice and full story ending.

Thanks to the publisher for the ARC. That being said, I don’t know if this is because it’s an ARC or a formatting error, the text appeared very clunky and like one giant block on my kindle which made it really hard to get into the story.
This book struggled to hold my interest. I wasn’t convinced of the chemistry between the main characters or the conflict. The setting and scenery descriptions were beautiful though.
If you want a light read, set in a tourist destination, this might be for you.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for the e-ARC of 24 Hours in Italy.
I really enjoyed this book. It was such a cute and cozy romance read. The funny banter between Jake and Mira was realistic and relatable. Having just been to the Amalfi Coast last year this book took me back and I could smell the lemons, jasmine and sea salt all over again! Eloise could have been a little less annoying and Mira less of a pushover to her but bridezilla gets what bridezilla wants. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a cute second chance romance and it would be the perfect vacation read.

Super cute! Wonderful imagery of the Amalfi coast, honest relationship discussions, & overall great sequel to “24 hours in Paris”

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this arc in exchange for an honest review!
This book had me wanting to escape to Italy ASAP and try out all of the delicious food. The details around Italy were amazing. This book was lovers to strangers to friends to lovers again? There's close proximity and I love how they always gravitate towards each other without trying. Mira did some questionable things but the two are really such unique characters.
Jake and Mira circled around and around for what felt like ages. The author definitely didn't do it in a way that was boring though! It seemed like there were so many different events happening that affected Jake and Mira. So much so that it almost seemed like fate was pushing them both away from each other and towards each other. You could tell that it was up to Jake and Mira to decide what they were gonna do. Choose each other or not?
I loved Jake. He had major fluffy character energy. Mira thought she knew everything and what was best for everyone. He clearly wanted her and was willing to do what it took to have her. Mira couldn't figure out her own mind and she was struggling just meeting him halfway. Their story is complicated but so unique! I was definitely satisfied with the ending. I enjoyed it a lot!

I love the cover. It's an insta-love book, as is evident by the title. I wish I were Mira; I love her life. When she and Jake rekindle their spark at a wedding in another gorgeous setting, it'll set your heart aflutter. Both of them are fully formed people, so seeing them cave in and adjust to a partner makes for a delightful read.

I didn’t realize this was a follow up book so I read 24 Hours in Paris first. I found both books to be a little unbelievable but I enjoyed the premise of both. I love that Mira is a travel aficionado and I did feel like the book was well researched!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this arc ebook in exchange for an honest review.

Cute, romantic, and a touch of whimsy. This was a fun read that felt like the type of romp a study abroad student would enjoy. Sometimes the attractions felt a little touristy in terms of authenticity, but I don't think an American audience would notice. It didn't take away from the story.

Mira and Jake reunite after their whirlwind Paris romance got hit with a major dose of life and reality. It’s been 2 years, and yet, the two make up for lost time with a new country, new checklist and maybe, just maybe a new ending to their love story.
Although you don’t need to have read the first book to follow along, I really feel that the ending won’t be as impactful unless you’re invested. Mira and Jake have some challenges to overcome, but ultimately it’s about choosing love, and putting yourself first. I was really happy with the ending!
Thank you so much to Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group and NetGalley for this arc!

After a whirlwind 24 hours in Paris and a rough adjustment to life in the real world, Mira and Jake go their separate ways. After almost two years, they are reunited in Italy, this time on the beautiful, picturesque Amalfi Coast. Will they be able to rekindle what they once had? Or has too much changed between them?
I love everything about Italy and really enjoyed reading about the food, the people and the views! I also enjoyed Mira and Jake’s reunion. It was rocky, funny, cute and sometimes gave me major feels! Can’t wait for everyone to have access to this read!

24 Hours in Italy was kindly provided as an ARC by Netgalley and Wattled Webtoon Book Group. Thank you for allowing me to read this wonderful book!
Release Date: 7/18/23
24 Hours in Italy was a whirlwind of a story. Following Mira’s path from the US back to Italy, and then having her come face to face with Jake was a lot in a small amount of time.
With that being said, I loved the chemistry between Mira and Jake.
