Lady Joanna Mabry has a bad habit of stealing books from her peers’ homes. But this time, she’s almost caught by James Huntington, the Duke of Northwick. Joanna accidentally grabbed a book from his library with a fake cover, and James soon finds himself putting off his proposal to another woman as he attempts to trap Joanna into revealing her theft of the naughty book.
This is the first book in the Marrying a Mabry series, fashioned around a group of siblings inspired by Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. Each title stands along.
The blurb for this book was slightly deceiving, as I expected it to be a much racier enemies-to-lovers story with the naughty book playing a larger role. It was actually more of the two characters having preconceived notions and developing an unlikely friendship and attraction. I really enjoyed Joanna's and Northwick's relationship and I would check this author out again in the future.

What a Fun Read!
Lady Joanna Mabry had the wrong impression of James, Duke of Northwick and decided to steal one of his books only the book in question was not what she expected.
James a well read Duke who had an extensive Library and knew every single book he had and soon noticed when one of his books had gone missing. He suspected Joanna and needed to prove she had the shocking book.
What a fun read, it had me in stitches from the beginning, the cat and mouse chase of trying to find out if she had the book. I loved the characters throughout the storyline and the sexual tension, the sneaking touches between them all leading to a HEA.
Of course both James and Joanna couldn’t wait to put the stolen book to good use! A page turner which left me with a wonderful happy feeling when I got to the end. Well worth a read!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Well written. Liked the twists and turns that keeps you at the edge of your seat. IF you’re one who likes regency romance stories, this is a must read!.
