From the title, the blurb and the cover I thought this book would be about reusing or recycling things.

However, it’s a me things I guess that the book do not turn out as I thought it would be.

This book is more like a memoir or glimpses of things that the author thinks about certain things which I do not expect from the book. I do feel that the reading experience could have been so much better with a better presentation of the contents.

First of all, for a nonfiction book I expect the writing to focus on things the title talks about. Second, the writing should be able to make valid points that are both appealing and interesting as well as informative. I find the content to be informative with references and foot notes given wherever applicable. I appreciate this. But I feel this isn’t the book I am looking forward to read when I see this title.

Not a book for everyone but I feel this would be a good read for readers who love reading nonfiction.

Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group - White Lion, for the advance reading copy.

An informative guide to the concept of sharing. The author begins with apps for food sharing if you have items that are about to reach their expiration date list them and hopefully someone will tag them and pick up the item.I loved her husband’s reaction when she started doing this wouldn’t it be easier to just go to the supermarket.Next clothing lending clothes on line each new chapter was really interesting not something I could get involved in but this is an excellent teaching aid.Well written well researched and I enjoyed the authors writing.#netgalley #thanksforsharing

This book is quite an interesting concept. It's about the idea of reducing waste and using apps to trade or give leftover food, transport, accommodation and dog walking. While I appreciate the attempts to reduce waste and save money its all extremely middle class. The food swapping is done on an app and at the drop of a hat so it wouldn't be suited to someone without a smart phone and working full time. Obviously societal issues are not all down to the author of this book and its an interesting read and never preachy but it isn't a sustainable concept for many.

I enjoyed some aspects of this book, particularly the clothes sharing as this is something I wanted to know more about. I’ve tried some of the food apps before but haven’t always been successful with them. It’s a gold collection of ideas, and worth a read if it is something you are interested in.

I was interested in this book because of the title and cover description. I am working on saving vs spending so I was looking to see what tips may be included. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I did learn some bits of helpful information but others dealt with Europe and not the US where I live.

I thought this was such a great book to read and acquire for our location. In a time of much recession it is extremely important to try to conserve and save as much as possible. This book, was useful, informative, and full of great tips to help find ways to make the best with what you have instead if shopping for more. I really enjoyed it and I know our readers will too.

Unable to read as no send to kindle option. I can't read on phone and my kindle is too old and basic to be able to add an app
