While "The Stranger in the Seine" is an engaging thriller with a unique premise, there are certain elements that prevent it from reaching its full potential. The pacing occasionally falters, with moments of sluggishness that hinder the overall momentum of the story. Additionally, some readers may find certain plot developments and twists to be overly convoluted or far-fetched, affecting the overall believability of the narrative.

Not my favorite book that I've read recently. I couldn't quite get into it. The writing and plot seemed a bit off to me. I do like books set in Paris though! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Two stars.

It's hard for me to rate this thriller/suspense novel as I feel that it did not end and I wonder if there will be a follow up book.

I had expected a standard mystery novel but the plot got more intense and more complex as I read on, intrigued. I liked the cleverness of the story and read to the strange ending.

It seems as if the story is not over......
