Choujin X continues it's tread of action and a bit of social commentary. I was pleased to see the commitment to having both Tokio and Ely having equal page time. It's nice. I also appreciate just how strange some of the designs can get. It makes a story that feels like it's still gaining it's real footing, more visually engaging. I feel like there's something under the surface of this story and I'm curious if I'm right.

I think this series is much stronger, with more robustly developed characters right out of the gate, than 'Tokyo Ghoul' (I know...). The covers are so striking, and the design of all of the monsters is just as strong in the books themselves. Can't wait to read further.
