Overall, I give this a 3.5/5 I think it was such a cute read, and the incorporation of the flower shop is a unique concept. I also read her other book and loved that as well. The writing was easy to read and the characters were so cute.

I was so happy to read this, I loved book 1 and I wanted to see if Holly and Ben finally come together (no spoilers here) . There were some great twists and the ending may have made me cry, but the author did finish in a way that had me smiling so all is forgiven. Looking forward to future books

A great end to Holly Berry's story! If you haven't read the first one, then I highly recommend you do before reading this book!

This is a cute, funny romance set in a picturesque town that if you're anything like me you now want to visit!

I was so happy to see Holly and Ben finally come together in this book, though I hated how long it took them. Dan's appearance was a twist and he played the stalker, annoying ex so well that I almost thought she'd take him back.

I loved Holly's involvement in the old folk's home and seeing her relationship with Verity bloom. I thought it was so sweet how she saw that Verity needed a friend and therefore ended up being there for her.

The last couple chapters broke me. I was boohoo crying, but then Lynn ended the book on a good note and had me smiling for Holly!

It was a fast and sweet read . Did i like it as much as book 1. . No. The book lacked something, the spirit was missing. I like the quirky friends in this book. They are adorable.

This book is the second book in the Second Chance Sweet Shop series. I think that you definitely need to read the first book before this book to understand and enjoy this book.
This book is set several Months after the first book, Holly is very busy and she hasn't really had a chance to go on dates with Ben yet. This is a very slow burning romance, which is threatened by several events before it has a chance to really begin.
Holly is very involved in fundraising for a Dance at the retirement home which she volunteers in. She is extremely busy.
I really enjoyed reading this book, I loved reading about Holly and Ben's dates and reading about the residents in the retirement home. There are a lot of heartwarming moments in this book, but also some very sad news.
I can't wait to read the next two books in the series. Hannah Lynn has very quickly become a new favourite Author of mine.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood books for my ARC.

The second book in the Second chance sweet shop range and it is yet another fab book to read. Again the characters are great and the setting, well it was a real pleasure to read about it. Again I recommend this book and give it 5 stars..

Enjoyable second instalment. Light hearted easy read, not so much sweatshop based but some laugh out loud moments always my the way. Thank you netgalley for the advanced copy

A sweet, easy to read, follow up story. Less sweet shop but more getting to know the characters and interactions with new characters in this book. I enjoyed it.

What a sweet (no pun intended) and uplifting book to read.

The story follows Holly Berry as she starts her new life as the owner of a sweet shop, trying to navigate a new friendship to relationship whilst avoiding her cringe worthy ex.

If you want an uplifting story with some laugh out loud moments then this is for you. I loved the characters particularly Holly and Verity. The story made me so happy and so sad at times.

Brilliant read. 4.5 stars.

This book was cute and light hearted, but seemed to lack a little oomph. The chemistry between Ben and Holly could have been more tangible, and I felt like it was in the first book. Dan was an absolute tool and I don’t understand why Holly doesn’t tell him off immediately. Holly’s friends, Jamie, Caroline, and Drey, don’t disappoint and bring a lot to the story. I also enjoyed the storyline at the care home with Verity. It was good, just didn’t quite live up to the first part of the series.
Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Spice Level: 🌶️/5

Enjoyable second instalment of this series. There is a lack of sweet shop action but enjoyable none the less as the storylines centre around events outside of the shop. It was great to watch the developments of current characters and meet new personalities too. Heart warming and light this is a perfect read (and series) to get lost in.

Thank you Netgalley

Holly has returned home to live in the beautiful Cotswold’s village of Bourton on the Water and is living her best life. She’s finally make a profit in her traditional sweet shop, which she has breathed new life into and she’s well and truly over her cheating ex-fiancée Dan. Holly is goin on a date with her neighbour, the very handsome and eligible bank manager Ben. However nothing quite goes to plan when Ben and Holly begin a romantic relationship.
Hannah Lynn has got the right mix of amusement, sadness and romance that make this novel a joy to read from start to finish.

This is yet again another lovely, easy to read and fun book by Hannah Lynn. What's not to like about a sweet shop and a story that revolves around it.

Holly Berry is back and has now scored a date with one of Bourton-on-the-Water’s most eligible bachelors, so what could possibly go wrong!?

This is just a good fun, sweet, entertaining read with a bit of romance, some loveable characters and a sweet shop. Easy reading at its best and I highly recommend this as a feel good book that will make you smile.

Thank you NetGally and Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

After I read the first in this series, this sweet read was perfect. A bit slow moving, but it was a quick read.

Holly Berry now owns her own sweet shop in the Cotswolds. She got burned on love back in London and a financier started to get the best of her here in Cotswolds. But bank manager, Ben, is starting to get a bit sweet on Holly. Is it going to ruin her home life since he lives next door to her new place? They walk to/from work together and get along so well. But when her ex pops back in town to propose, her world blows up again.
Watching this adorable story unfold is the bright spot of my reading...

We are back with Holly in the sweetshop catching up the latest events.
Her ex who cheated on her turns up after he decides he wants her back and won't take no for an answer just as Holly would like to be more than friends with the hunky bank manager Ben.
Will he finally take the hint and will Ban and Holly ever get together ?

I really enjoyed this one as much as the first book! Was more interesting to read more about Holly Berry and the all!

Another easy and enjoyable read, although this one didn’t capture my attention like the first one. I enjoyed reconnecting with characters from the first book, but if I’m being honest I missed the sweet shop in this one as we didn’t spend as much time there in this one. Still a nice read though.

Thank you for the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first one but nonetheless it was still a nice read. Enjoyed continuing with the original characters but felt the storyline lacked something somehow. Maybe it was the lack of romance between Ben and Holly or perhaps it was the rushed party storyline I’m not sure. Overall though it was a nice easy read

Well, I've read both of Hannah's sweetshop books and the second one nearly broke me, the emotion and the well written characters were perfect, you can feel the love coming off the page, yes, there is a loss but it's so well written that it's beautiful

I enjoyed this book much more than the first one. The main character seemed to have more “get up and go”. Maybe I’ve gotten used to the characters more. But, this was a smashing book in the series. I do hope there is more to come. My thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.
