This is a super cute early chapter book about Ali and his little brother, Fateh, and what happens when Fateh gets lost in the Asian Supermarket, when he goes there with his grandfather.
His grandfather wanted to buy Pakistani snacks, because he grew up there. Ali likes them too, so has no problem going along. He is supposed to be in charge of his brother, but he vanishes, and Ali knows he has to find him, so he has to think about where he would possibly go. Quick thinking leads him to the toy section, where of course he is.
But how to draw him away from the toys? Why with the very snacks that they came there to buy.
Cute pictures, simple Urdu words are thrown in, but also explained at the beginning of the book. When I say Early Chapter, I totally mean it, as there are only three chapters in total.
Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review. This book comes out the 3rd of August 2023.
Loving the illustration and layout 😍 the story was light enjoyable, and might feel relateable especially for parents with toodlers.

Ali Tahir is such an amazing kid!
This chapter book describes a day when his grandfather wants to have a snack that’s from Pakistan. So Ali takes his little brother to the South Asian Market but something goes wrong when the little brother goes missing in the marker! Read this cute book to find out how Ali finds his little brother there.
The book is a good one in teaching the young readers on how to find creative solutions to the problems we face.
The illustrations are great too!
