I love Will and Nico so much, these 60 pages made me want to cry like 3 times so I know the full book will be amazing and I cant wait for it.

Even though this was only two chapters, I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. It felt like walking back into a well-loved world and saying hi to old friends. The humor and wit are strong, just like all Percy Jackson books, and the mysterious intrigue hooked me from the first chapter. I cannot wait to read the whole thing!

This was just a small sample of the book and I think it is off to a great start. It's just enough to get you hooked. The focus is on Nico and Will and they are about to set off on a quest. It takes place after the Trials of Apollo so those are a must read to understand the events and the characters featured in those books, as well as mentions from PJO and Heroes of Olympus. I cannot wait for the release of this book and see how the quest turns out for Nico and Will.

I literally screamed with joy when this popped up on my kindle. I love all thing Percy but I especially love Nico. This was a really fun way to jump back into the PJ world. Nico and Will are freaking adorable and they balance each other out nicely. Will is literally sunshine in a person and Nico is literally the son of Hades. They are out on a new quest to help Bob from the underworld and they need each other to survive. The Sun and the Star is filled with everything you love about the Percy Jackson world. There's action, sass, and lot of heart. I loved it! I can't wait to read it again

Mark Oshiro manages to hit Rick Riordan's iconic voice and the soul of what makes Nico such a popular character among PJO readers. The base structure, emotion, and humour is there, as is the intrigue of the story to be told - I'm already feeling impatient to read the rest! And of course, like anyone who grew up with Percy Jackson, the little references to our Son of Poseidon are very welcome. Can't wait to see how this goes, and I have no reason for concern. It's going to be great

A great sneak peek of what i imagine is is going to be an AMAZING book. Been waiting for a long time for this and i know it will be worth the wait.

This was a wonderful preview, and I'm even more excited for the full release of this book! I've been a long time fan of this series and Riordan's works, and I can't wait to see what the full book brings. I'm also curious to see more of how the two write together!

I am a fan of the Percy Jackson Universe and adored original series and the Heroes Of Olympus. I'm glad to see Nico getting his own book. These chapters have left me so intrigued! A quest! A prophecy directly from Rachel Dare. And those nightmares. Nico is certainly going to have his hands full. I'm eager to read the rest of this book. What will happen when on this quest? Will Nico have to face his father. Why is Cupid involved? So many questions.

Im really happy I got to read the first few chapters of this book. I’ve been reading this series for a long time and I’ve seen it evolve in a very interesting way. I appreciated the discussion about dealing with trauma and post traumatic stress disorder. It was done in terms plain enough for children to understand and I believe it is important for them to understand even their heroes struggle after surviving difficult events. I will be waiting impatiently for the book to come out and to see one of my favourite characters get to grow up.

Great start to the book as a teaser of the first few chapters- can't wait to read the rest! I've always wanted a Nico and Will book and it's co written by an author I love (Mark Oshiro) and what I read certainly lived up to my expectations!

I received an electronic ARC excerpt of the first sixty pages. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book. The first couple chapters began slowly with introductions of the adventure to come. Some of the few left at Camp Half Blood are Nico, Will, Chiron and Mr. D. Nico finally shares the voice he has been hearing and the dreams that have occurred while he was awake and sleeping.
Not rating this one until I've read the entire book.

I just read the preview post here and wow I am not emotionally ready for this book to come out. I'm already hooked just from the couple chapters here. Percy Jackson is my childhood and I just reread the entire first two series last year and I cannot wait to jump back into this world and get to learn more about Nico and Will.

I have been a fan of individually of Mark Oshiro and Rick Riordan for years. And when the announcement came that the two of them were coauthoring a new Percy Jackson book, I was ecstatic. And more than that, it's a Nico de Angelo book, a character I have desperately wanted more of since he first appeared.

This is only the first few chapters, and it certainly got me excited about the rest of the story. It is a slower start than most of the other Percy Jackson books. This is mostly because we have to drop enough pieces of information of 15 earlier books to make sure even someone new to the world knows what's going on. So it's a lot of setup, but we get good ideas of the characterization right off the bat, and I cannot wait to read the rest!

I literally love nico and will's relationship and I know this book will destroy me. I love how nico's trauma won't be overlooked and how will is always there for him, like the ultimate boyfriend. very excited and nervous to read the full book!

I honestly haven’t read any of Rick Riordan books, i know okay i know shame on me! But this sneek peak, makes me want to read all of his books.
