Was difficult to get into without reading the first two volumes. I am not really a manga reader. Just trying to get into new formats of reading with different medias.
Thank you for a free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
Apple Black Volume 3 jumps from plot point to plot point so much that it's often difficult to follow the narrative. However, it's a fairly fun read and could appeal to readers looking for a Shonen Jump inspired title mixed with storytelling sensibilities often found in Western comics.
I rlly enjoyed the storyline and characters from this and Im excited to read more of this manga and see where the story goes !!!
So many characters I am not familiar with. So many battles that make the entire book seem like an abridged story. I would have liked to know the characters better, as this does not seem like a stand-alone story. Which is fine, except without even a slight introduction it is hard to know what is going on.
Apple Black is a manga inspired comic that just does NOT let up. It has a huge cast, a lot of action, and a lot of mystery that makes it one of the most complex yet enjoyable comic stories on the market right now. The art is stunning and compelling. The story keeps expanding and the intensity keeps rising higher and higher. SaturdayAM has an amazing offering for comic readers that no one should miss out on. Yet another hit!
