Reading Christmas Romances has become one of my favorite pre-Christmas things to do. Each of these stories was so enjoyable and they were all different too.

You'll find everything from unexpected matchmaking from overzealous relatives & friends to childhood friends seeing each other in a different light. There are characters trying to heal from past grief and the Christmas season helps them in their healing.

The four authors who wrote these stories are some of the best historical romance writers around. All four stories are ones I would happily read again. They truly jumped started the feeling of celebrating Christmas in my heart. Christmas Forevermore will make the best Christmas present for all of your friends and family who love reading a sweet, clean, historical romance.

“A Family Christmas” by @authorsallybritton
💕 I loved the sense of belonging Sally threaded through this story. I loved that said brought together a person who didn’t belong, but was treated as she did and one who did belong but didn’t feel like he did. The familial love and the romance we’re both beautifully done and the holiday spirit woven though out made the story magical.

“Christmas Forevermore” by @sarah_m_eden
💕 Practically bubbling with Christmas spirit, with a dash of a Christmas carol, a slow burn friend to lovers and a sense of belonging for the lonely and The out cast. Makes you want to make memories, enjoy loved ones and be more aware of those in your circle of influence that might need cheering

“Christmas at Cranfield” by @ashtyn_newbold_author
💕 I loved the little ways Ashtyn connected the the relationship through out its ups and downs. The respect they showed each other and the love that lasted despite the obstacles was tender.

“A Thrill of Hope” by @authorkarenthornell
💕 This story is the sweetest thing. I loved the growth of the characters and the gradual way you almost didn’t realize their pain for what it was until they were changing. I loved the slow burn romance and the way she built the chemistry between the two. Even with the delicious slow pull of those two things, the story was anything but. It kept my attention from being to end and I loved it.

This is a wonderful Christmas anthology. I enjoyed each of the four stories. The stories each showed how the magic of Christmas can involve love, marriage, and happiness. Each of the stories had its own unique storylines that readers will enjoy. I have enjoyed reading stories by each of these authors in the past and was delighted to find this anthology featuring them all together. I strongly recommend you find a comfy spot and spend some time with this awesome book.

I know I have expressed this on the gram before, but I love reading novellas. They are a perfect treat when you want to read a full story in one or two sittings. I was so excited to read Christmas Forevermore for two reasons: 1, It is a collection of Christmas novellas and 2, four of my favorite authors were included.
This collection includes novellas by Sarah M. Eden, Sally Britton, Karen Thornell, and Ashtyn Newbold. Each unique novella is filled with Christmas spirit and traditions, family and friends, banter and chemistry, and of course, romance. I loved every minute of reading these novellas.

I enjoyed this collection of novellas.

A Family Christmas was a sweet story of connection and discovering that sometimes our perspectives keep us from discovering the joy that is right before us.

Christmas Forevermore was a more sober story, with a fair amount of focus on grief and loss. I didn’t see any significant connection to “A Christmas Carol” myself – apart from the fact there were three suitors who caused Minna to think of her past, present and future, but I thought it an honest and moving narrative.

Christmas at Cranfield was one of those stories where you are expecting a happy ending and yet at every turn you wonder if the characters are doing everything in their power to prevent a satisfactory resolution to the tale. I was pleased with the way it ended.

A Thrill of Hope is another story that dives into the impact of grief and loss and insecurity and weaves a tale with a real depth of joy.

All the stories were the type of reading I’d choose for a good holiday read and I recommend the collection to you.

I am always in awe at how author's can make you love characters within the short chapters of a Novella, but these stories have it all.

First up, Sally Briton amazes with her tale of Cyril Grant, a gentleman, who, when returning to his family's Christmas celebration after many years abroad, struggles to find his fit with his family. Due to a connection with his grandmother's hired companion, Jane, he finds a way to open his heart and not just to his family.

Next we have Sarah M. Eden who delights with her tale of an almost-on-the-shelf Minna Schofield who is targeted by the local matchmaker as her next project. The meddling of this matchmaker leads her on a journey of self discovery and unexpected love.

Ashtyn Newbold brings us a wonderful story of Samuel and Hannah's childhood love that seems to never be in the right place at the right time. After years of shared holidays but missed chances can a Christmas miracle finally bring them together?

Last but certainly not least, Karen Thornell wows with the story of Isabel Reid who, having lost her mother and then her father remarrying, doesn't feel the joy of Christmas. An unexpected travelling companion, in the form of a lost childhood friend, and an unexpected snow storm lead her on a journey that just may help her heart to thaw...to more than just Christmas.

Hope is Shining Brightly

This book was perfect for getting in the holiday spirit! With each novella about 100 pages long, there was plenty of time to get to know the characters and develop a good story, but each story was also short enough to finish in one sitting.

I loved Sarah Eden’s nod to Charles Dickens with Christmas past, present, and future. I loved the elements of found family, childhood friends to lovers, interfering matchmakers, and well intentioned relatives. There were also plenty of Christmas traditions from parlor games, mistletoe, collecting of greenery, and snowball fights. I even learned about new traditions and games like conkers. My favorite story was A Thrill of Hope by Karen Thornill!

This collection was full of hope, romance, and the traditions we love!

Christmas Forevermore is a compilation of four Christmas Novellas by 4 great authors. All four of the stories are a sweet clean regency romance. They are such fun stories that really get you into the Christmas spirit. I enjoyed them all but I especially loved Christmas at Cranfiield by Ashtyn Newbold.

I recommend this fun book to kick off the Christmas season.

I love these Christmas romance collections and look forward to them every year. They always have novellas from some of my favorite authors and the stories are full of the Christmas spirit.

A Family Christmas by Sally Britton ~ This is my favorite in the collection and it's not just because Cyril and Jane are adorable, but because I love the found family trope. Cyril is adjusting to being with his father's family after many years away but Jane, his grandmother's companion, helps him see his family loves him and they're happy to see him and his sister. The snowball fight was one of my favorite scenes.

Christmas Forevermore by Sarah M. Eden ~ A fun matchmaking, friends to love story. Minna is fine with being a spinster but local busybody & self-proclaimed matchmaker Mrs. Jackson has other ideas and has plans to find Minna a husband by Christmas. Her "perfect matches" had me rolling my eyes and wishing Minna and Rupert would open theirs.

Christmas at Cranfield by Ashtyn Newbold ~ I love second chance romances and this one is a multi-chance at love story involving childhood friends Hannah and Samuel. They care for each other but something's always in the way of them declaring their feelings--Samuel is engaged then Hannah has a suitor. Will time ever be on their side? I loved the kissing boughs and the dancing--so swoony.

A Thrill of Hope by Karen Thornell ~ Isabelle and Robert were childhood friends but haven't seen each other in many years. Thanks to a little matchmaking on his father's part Robert is escorting Isabelle to her aunt's for Christmas but a snowstorm means he'll be spending Christmas there too. I liked the enemies to love vibe these two had and there's nothing like forced proximity to bring a couple together.

All of these stories are sweet romances with just kisses. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.

What a wonderfully sweet story of love, compassion, and acceptance. I enjoyed the fact that Jane was a ladies companion, and yet treated as part of the family. Cyril and his sister Elizabeth came in the strangers, but became engulfed in the love of family quickly. The games and activities that surround Christmastide made the story all the more festive and quaint Sally Britton is one of my favorite authors now this one is now added to the list.
Christmas forevermore by Sarah M Eden
Another favorite author with a great Christmas love story. Best friends to true love is a great trope. I loved the Matchmaking matron, and all of her attempts to find Jane a match by Christmas. It was a fun story and great characters.
Christmas at Cranfield by Ashtyn Newbold
This is such a wonderful Christmas anthology. All of the stories are sweet, charming and full of holiday magic. The trope of best friend and his sister‘s is so touching. Whenever a full year went by, I wanted to scream! But the magic prevailed and romance won. A great story by another favorite author.
A Thrill of Hope by Karen Thornell
Well, the last story is just as good as the rest!! This story was entertaining, sweet and witty. I liked the characters very much. They had known each other as children, but then lost contact. They were somewhat forced to be confined in a carriage through a snow storm, and then remain at the same destination, because of the storm, made for a great forced proximity trope. I loved how Isabell was able to get Robert to let down his guard. Sweet and swoony romance. Overall, this was a great anthology. All four books were wonderful, clean, holiday romances.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What do you get when you put four fabulous regency authors and the most wonderful time of the year? A fabulous anthology of Christmas novellas that are delightfully festive. Wholesome Romance’s new Christmas anthology, Christmas Forevermore, is exactly that! It features four novellas written by Sally Britton, Sarah M. Eden, Ashtyn Newbold and Karen Thornell.

Each novella is beautifully written and charming in their own way. I don’t always love novellas. I feel that sometimes they are rushed and wish there was more character development. I didn’t feel that way at all reading these novellas. Each author wrote a story that allowed their characters to grow and left me feeling all the merry feelings of the Christmas season.

“Christmas Forevermore” features many favorite tropes including friends-to-lovers, found family, brother’s best friend, and a grumpy hero who will definitely make your heart melt. There are also plenty of heart warming and swoony moments. Some of my favorites involved a snowball fight, a Christmas ball, and being snowed in. This is one you’ll definitely want to add to your TBR list for the upcoming holiday season.

Thank you to Covenant Communications for an advanced copy. These thoughts are my own.

These four stories are so delightful as Christmas stories. A little romance, a little spirit of Christmas, they are truly inspiring. I look forward each year to the Christmas Novella Collection. They are perfect when I don't have time or want to read a longer book. These stories are witty and heart warming with strong characters who have good chemistry. It is an all around great way to bring in the cheer of the holiday season.

I usually enjoy Regency romance anthologies, so I was quite looking forward to diving into this one. Overall, I found it to be a good anthology with sweet novellas, and slightly longer than I expected (about 100 pages each).

The first one is “A Family Christmas” by Sally Britton, an author whose books I usually enjoy reading, and this one was no exception.
The hero, Cyril Grant, has just returned to England after many years in St Kitts, and worries about fitting in with his relatives during their Christmas reunion. There is someone is the family that is not a relative, but whose joie-de-vivre and kindness will steal Cyril's heart. My favourite novella of this anthology, very cute, very sweet, a pleasure to read.

“Christmas Forevermore” by Sarah M. Eden is the second novella, and knowing the author's writing skills, I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I didn't find the magic of her Lancaster or Jonquil Brothers series, and didn't enjoy this novella as much as I did not find her usual universe, well constructed characters, and magic with words.
Minna Scholfield and her love interest did not have real chemistry, we don't get what leads them to become more than friends... The secondary love story was cute though, and I appreciated the fact that the novella is inspired by "A Christmas Carol" (which I didn't know before, but quickly realised. It was even perhaps even a bit too obvious/forced at times...)

The third novella was “Christmas at Cranfield” by Ashtyn Newbold. Not my favourite of the anthology either, I found that it dragged on for two long. Had it been a bit shorter, and with a deeper insight into all the characters, I might have appreciated it more. The romance was sweet though, and I do like a childhood-friends-to-lovers trope.

“A Thrill of Hope” was a very nice novella by Karen Thornell.
After losing her mother some years ago, Isabel Reid does not wish to celebrate Christmas and be reminded of once-happy memories. But between matchmaking relatives and a snowstorm, Isabel might not be able to escape love this Christmas season. I enjoyed the evolution between the characters' personalities and friendship, the grumpy vs happy trope that becomes a more balanced relationship, although I wished to see more sparks from the beginning.

A sweet collection by various authors. Some were more enjoyable than others, especially those by authors I usually enjoy.

What a delightful collection of stories! This was the perfect book to kick off my holiday reading! I loved each of them!
"A Family Christmas" by Sally Britton--I loved seeing how cheerful Jane was and how she pulled Cyril into his own family. Their interactions were just adorable.

"Christmas Forevermore" by Sarah M. Eden--Although it's tough to pick a favorite with four great stories, this one did manage to gain that title. I loved the nods to "A Christmas Carol." I also liked seeing Minna's introspection and journey toward healing. The banter between her and Rupert is fantastic. Just a wonderful story!

"Christmas at Cranfield" by Ashtyn Newbold was a bit of a star-crossed lovers story, with the circumstances and timing not being quite right for Hannah and Samuel to have a romance. I was quite interested to see how they would bring about their happily ever after.

"A Thrill of Hope" by Karen Thornell features my favorite type of hero--grumpy exterior, sweet interior. Both Isabel and Robert needed to do some healing, and I loved seeing that come for both of them and for them to let their true selves show, rather than just the guarded selves they'd revealed at first.

All of these stories, despite being novellas and not full-length stories, featured well-developed characters and plot-lines. I thoroughly enjoyed this collection and hope I'll have time to revisit it soon!

I read an ARC provided by the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
