A good surface level introduction to some of the issues surrounding antisemitism. For the American Jew who hasn't thought too hard about the subject this is a good start and is more timely than ever. It does hot engage with the broader field of scholarship regarding anti-Judaism and antisemitism as much as it should.

This is the most timely book out there right now. With the rise of antisemitism world wide, this book feels like it should be required reading for everyone. Especially those in politics.

I feel like I knew a lot of what was being discussed but it was so refreshing reading it in a book being put out by a large publishing house. There were so many moments while reading that I just screamed and wanted to give the author a huge high five.

This is a necessary book. It discusses contemporary antisemitism in an easily accessible and profound way, while also calling out the areas of antisemitism that get swept under the rug (re: left wing antisemitism disguising itself as antizionism). This author is an inspiration and this book needs to be out in the world.

Pro:
* Timely topic, or is it an ever relevant one? 😡
* Good fundamental history information
* Very readable
Con:
* Some over generalizations: examples presented as widely-held or universal beliefs/practices
* I’m not sure the Christmas assumption is specifically antisemitism as much as it is Christian cultural bullying of any non-Christian.

Thank you to Rabbi Diana Fersko, Hachette Book Group, and NetGalley for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book hits many important topics and is a MUST read!

Jewish millennials are living inside a new chapter of antisemitism. The story needs to be carried forward by us, we need to speak up and be the voice but no matter who you are or where you come from, you can talk about antisemitism.

This book dissects what antisemitic thoughts/reasoning people have any why it's important to understand the damage and how it impacts what it means to be Jewish American today.
