It has been a little bit since I've been so excited to start a historical romance! The second my arc for My Rogue to Ruin came in, I pounced on the chance to escape into a world with Wynchesters. I am a big fan of found family. I also adore enemies to lovers and this certainly has a vibe of enemies. And it has homing hedgehogs! Adrian and Marjorie's story is incredibly cute and floofy. The danger stays relatively low angst which makes this a great easy, romantic summery read.

I adore Marjorie! I may be biased since I am a huge Wynchester fan but her loyalty and stagehand work behind the scenes in the family's schemes make her one of my absolute favorites. We see her insecurities but more importantly her strength and determination both on her own and supported by family and, later, Adrian.

I didn't really understand what made Adrian such a rogue, beyond the initial exile. Maybe he is just my sort of hero and I'm staring at him with rose colored glasses? I feel like this may be an instance of the mystery/threat in the story overshadowing the character building on Adrian's side since we only get a chapter or so before he is thrust into the counterfeit scheme against his will.

I love the diversity and representation that Ridley has given us in the Wynchesters! I can't wait to read more about their shenanigans. Especially Elizabeth. I am desperate for Elizabeth's HEA!

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

as a self appointed historical romance connoisseur, this is top tier! i was totally obsessed with adrian from the first moment!!!! also felt kind of weird when he was addressed with his last name because its the same as mine but i pretended not to notice LOL. i typically am not a fan of forger stories for historical.romance because the details can be tedius but for some reason this one swept me away in the delightful banter.

Best book in the Wynchester series. The caper was just as enjoyable as the romance.

Erica Ridley’s Wild Wynchesters series has a great found family who really supports each other and shows up for one another and they all make appearances in this book.

Marjorie and Adrian are a great couple - such fun banter and so cute together.

Thank you NetGalley and Forever for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute read! I had a hard time getting into it at the start. I didn't realize this author had so many other novels set in this world, so there were a lot of characters mentioned that were clearly meant to be part of a larger arc. I just didn't get the references.
Additionally, love a split POV, but the first meeting and a few other scenes between Marjorie and Adrian from Adrian's POV felt straight up silly when I think they were meant to play as whimsical.
Overall, not a bad read. Don't know that I'd try anything else set in this universe.

This is certainly a little different story than others I have read by Ericka Ridley and it seemed to take a long time to tell it. Marjorie Wynchester was adopted into a family of very unusually characters and all have equally unusual talents. Marjorie is partially deaf and feels she doesn't have talents like the other family members. The Wynchester family is always to trying to help others and are known as being able to do the imepossible. Lord Adrian Webb has been gone from England or a long time. Adrian told a story to his father his older brother, Herbert had told him to tell their father. He was literally thrown from his home penniless and with only the clothes on his back because of that story. Marjorie and Adrian see each other for just a few moments at the Brisht Museum, but there is an instant connection both feel. The next time Marjorie sees Adrian, she is on a mission to try to recover the wedding ring that a neighbor had given to a money lender. The wedding ring belonged to the lady's deceased husband, the money turned out to be fake and now the lady is about to be evicted from her home. Marjorie is surprised when she goes to the money lender's home to find out ADrian is the one making the fake coins. What happens next? You will need to read this story to find out because there are no spoiler alerts here. Just to note there are some "steamy" parts in this story.

This was my first book from the Wynchester series and I can’t wait to go back and read the first 3.
This was a refreshing spin on the regency romance that was not something I had read before.
I also love that the women are all capable, strong and independent women with talents all their own.
I definitely recommend this if you haven’t read it or this series yet

I love the Wynchesters so much. They are the epitome of found family.
Marjorie has always felt just outside of her siblings talents. With her hearing impairment she fears she’s not contributing as much and might be left behind as they each fall in love.
However, when they need a forger to trap a horrible man who is taking advantage of those who cannot afford to lose anything in a rookery., she jumps at the chance. If there happens to be a very handsome, impeccably dressed Lord assisting, she can handle him.
I loved these two. Adrian’s desire for family and determination to protect his sister is admirable. How he soon includes Marjorie in this protection is sexy.
This family has stayed true to themselves and each talent is highlighted impeccably.
I cannot wait to see what happens with Elizabeth.

2.5/5, I hadn’t read any of the other books in this series and the concept is cool, however I quickly got bored with the plot and repetitive settings. I liked Marjorie’s character and her interactions with her family and the animals. I felt that the romance could have been developed with more depth and the scenes at the villain’s place felt drawn out, I wish there was a wider variety of settings.

Another hit by Erica Ridley. She is among my top ten favorite authors and this book keeps her in that position. This book caught my interest right from the start and kept it until the end. I am looking forward to her next story.

Stuck because of his own stupidity, he continues because he has no choice. The Winchester are called in to solve the forgery problem. The only Winchester to solve it is half deaf and prefers not to be in the middle of action. This time she is it!!
Wonderful mystery to solve and put to rights.
I recieved a free copy so that I might tell you what I honestly think. Hope you enjoyed my review. Now go enjoy the book

Historical romance with intrigue
The Wynchester family is still concocting plans to aid those who have been wronged. The family is orphans brought together by Baron Vanderbean, who cobbled them into a tight knit family, who avenged the downtrodden, before he got smallpox and passed away. They continue his quest and the latest is a widow being cheated.
As they go about putting their plans into action, they become aware of another, who is just as much a victim and adjust accordingly. This one draws Marjorie strongly and aids her in the plan to eliminate the perpetrator of a lot of misery.
The tale is fast moving with danger to the group, humor and romance for Marjorie and Adrian. It is a fun read and I enjoyed it.
I requested and received a NetGalley ARC to peruse gratis and offer my opinion in the same.

The Winchesters are at it again. This time Majorie steps up to prove to herself she is good at really helping too. When she meets Adrian she finds out things aren’t at all what they appeared to be. Soon they plot together to help others and soon find out they have to save their selfs. Adventure, romance and blackmail are entwined in this story.

Thank you, Netgalley and Forever Publishing, for this arc and for an honest review.

This was a cute read once I got into the book, it was quite an enjoyable read. This book is about Marjorie, who is a partially deaf artist with her group of adopted siblings. Adrian, the mc, is also an artist who was kicked out of his family home because of a scandal when he was younger and now uses his artistry to make knock off art. He is found out by one of his clients and now is controlled by a horrible boss who is using him to scam and destroy poorer people's lives.

This book took me a very long time to get into, but once I got to about 40 percent in, it became an interesting read. I liked the found family aspect and fun that Marjorie's story brought to the book. I also liked the disability rep and Marjorie's character in general. The plot was fun, a little unrealistic, but it really helped the story to move along. I think the romance took a while to happen and didn't seem as developed. Toward the end of the book, I liked Adrian and Marjorie together, but it did take a while for me to get into the romance.

Overall this is a fun, entertaining, and crazy historical romance. I'm definitely interested in reading more of this series.

Rating:3.5/5

You’re never quite sure who are on the side of good and which twist will pull the rug from under it all. There is a high level of madness in this tale, some slapstick, espace by means of a hedgehog and siblings that aren’t siblings but mean so much more.
This book is on the barmy side and all the better for it. A funny, tender caper.

My Rogue to Ruin is book four in the The Wild Wynchesters Series by Erica Ridley.

Excellent storytelling and beautifully characters, this was such a fresh and unique historical romance I could not help but love.
Marjorie and Adrian were just the cutest, sweetest and most interesting characters. I truly enjoyed reading their story and following along int their journey.
I absolutely loved this story. The characters were all interesting, the dialogue was witty, the story was so much fun.
Erica Ridley created a beautiful contemporary romance and now I’m going back to read book one through three.

The Wynchester siblings should never be underestimated. I appreciate the “contingencies” they make with their plans and the supportive, accepting nature of each member. My Rogue to Ruin highlights strengths over limitations and character over reputation. The heat was a little lower than I’m accustomed, but it still had some spice. And plenty of heart and fun and hijinks.

I received an ARC courtesy of the publisher and NetGalley. All opinions are my is.

"My Rogue to Ruin" is the fourth book in Erica Ridley's "The Wild Wynchesters" series. Having read a previous book in this series, I was excited to read about the family once again. The Wynchester family is comprised of members who each have a special criminal talent. This particular book focuses on Marjorie, who is a fantastic forger. She runs in to the likes of Lord Adrian Webb, who disguises himself as a rake and ne'er-do-well. However, as Adrian and Marjorie are forced to work together, they soon learn that there is more to them than meets the surface.

This was a quick book to read, and I enjoyed reading about the Wynchester family once again. Overall, I thought the romance was a bit rushed and superficial. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

4.5 rounded up! I really adore anything Erica Ridley writes. Her characters are so well-written and always have excellent character growth. I was so excited to read Marjorie's story and it definitely came through!! She's an excellent protagonist and it was great to be in her head since she tends to take a backseat with all of the siblings and their many talents. Adrian was a great love interest, and the caper/heist in this book was exciting and kept me on my toes. An excellent addition to the Wild Wynchesters series!
