This was an absolutely beautiful book. I truly loved it. This was absolutely perfect and just the book I needed. "Chefs Kiss"
I just reviewed My Goodbye Girl by Anna Gomez. #MyGoodbyeGirl #NetGalley

A deep exploration of a romantic journey between two people who are the epitome of opposites attract. While it has romcom moments, the book goes deeper and falls more into a romantic drama with serious subject matter. Highly recommend.
Finished ✔️ My Goodbye Girl by Anna Gomez and it was pretty enjoyable.

A heart-wrenching tale of two people destined to be together. Simon and Tessa are fantastically portrayed as star-crossed lovers whose lives are worlds apart. Even those who are not fans of romance will enjoy the relationships, scenery, and beautiful prose of this book 🤩
A beautiful story of a woman’s quest to open her heart and let live in.
Yes, I’d definitely recommend this book to others.

A terrific emotional journey of the heart that has depth and a shocking twist. Recommended for fans of Me Before You.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
This was my first time reading this author and the description sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately I think maybe this author’s writing style doesn’t work for me.
I found Tessa really annoying and I couldn’t really understand why Simon liked her so much beyond physical attraction. The insta-love trope is a hard one to do well and I feel like this book missed the mark.
It might be a fun, fast read for some but I didn’t connect with this book at all.
I started off enjoying My Goodbye Girl, but quickly found myself pretty disinterested and a bit confused. The writing was clunky and didn't captivate me.
This was such a beautiful love story. It was really deep and thoughtful and I enjoyed it. It combines the beauty of love and travel and letting go of your past. I haven't read anything by this author before but her writing style was so beautiful that I cant wait to pick up other titles.
