Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy of Stinger by Mia Sheridan.

I loved Leo so I knew this book wouldn't disappoint. And Wow, I did not see where this plot was going. Such a great surprise turn of events! Nothing terribly dramatic, but just not what you are thinking when reading the synopsis. Very sweet love story between these two. Definitely believe in fate and destiny and these two souls were meant to be together in the long run. Also glad this didn't end on a cliffhanger...finally a stand alone book! Loved it! 5 stars!

Mia Sheridan’s writing just gets better and better. I loved Stinger. This is a stand alone and is ready to be enjoyed!

Thank you NetGalley for the arc! This book was an interesting second chance romance read. Grace and Carson meet each other at a conference in Vegas. Grace is a law student and Carson is a male adult performer. Both these characterizes have a story and the story is told from two point of views. There are all sorts of surprises in the book and that is what wrapped me in the story. Yes the book has the perfect amount of spice.

I love a Mia Sheridan novel to give me some romance with substance. The characters are created to be more than the sometimes two dimensional romance leads we read about - you sympathize and fantasize about them the further you read

Mia Sheridan's books have always been a must read for me. I think that this book is no exception. Loved it!

Wow. I am an avid Mia Sheridan fan (Archers Voice and Savaged being my go-to comfort reads), and I am not sure what I was expecting going into this one but it definitely blew whatever my expectations had been out of the water. Stinger was completely different than the other Mia Sheridan reads I’ve enjoyed in the past. I loved the dynamic of the characters and the banter between Carson and Grace.

This was my first Mia Sheridan, and it wont be the last.
These characters were well developed and great on page together. I felt Mia's way of going through much time with these characters was done well and she didn't get caught up in little moments that weren't needed.
Can't wait to check out more from her.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of this book. This was not for me. I struggled with the story and the characters. Just seemed too implausible.

Thank you very much for the opportunity to read this book early! I really enjoyed it. I thought the writing was very well done, and the story kept me interested. I really loved watching these two characters get together.

This may be one of the hardest books to rate for me. I really enjoyed the second half of this book. The first half was a bit too insta-lovey for me, but it was fun. What I had a hard time with was that the first and second half of the book felt like I was reading two different books. It just didn’t quite make sense to me the direction the story went and it was a little out of left field. I think I would have enjoyed it more with a different first half. I absolutely love Sheridan’s writing though and as usual I teared up at the end.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

I had never read anything by this author before but had been wanting to try her books for a while and I'm so glad I did! This is a second chance love story of basically two very different relationships. One relationship is more fun, young love. Then 5 years later is the more grown-up serious relationship with it's own trials and tribulations. This allows you to see each of the characters grow individually and then as a couple. Their relationship intrigued me and kept me turning the page until the very end.

Sadly this book just didn’t grab as much as I hoped it would. I put it down and picked it up multiple times but I just couldn’t connect with it. Super bummed

Grace is the girl with a plan. She knows exactly where her life is going, and prides herself on always achieving her goals. She's never stepped outside the lines she draws for herself, and never considered what her heart truly wants. That is, until him. Carson Stinger doesn't play by any rules except his own. Working in the adult entertainment industry, he doesn't care what others think of his choices, and takes each day as it comes. No direction, no plan. He knows what women want from him, and in his eyes, it's all he has to offer… until her. When unexpected circumstances force them together, Grace and Carson are swept up into the electric chemistry between them, surrendering to a steamy weekend in each other's arms. But for two people whose worlds could never coexist, they know their time is short. That is, until their hearts get involved without their permission…
Grace and Carson have some serious chemistry. They have a whirlwind weekend in Vegas and then years later they meet again. I loved the flow and writing of this book. I read it in one day.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bloom Books for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this was cute but a little predictable and it also felt kind of like it was dragging on for a bit toward the final act. The characters were fun and the storyline was fine I think maybe I was just in a slumpy mood because I just couldn’t get into it for some reason! Maybe just not for me.

This started off stronger than it finished- the first part was definitely better than the second. It is by all means a fast and easy read with quality writing, as it's Mia Sheridan; but it's no Graysons Vow or Travis.
A woman at a law conference in Vegas meets a porn star at a conference in the same hotel, it's insta-love and they spend an amazing (&spicy) weekend together before the reality of what he does becomes the relationships demise before it even starts. The "break up" sets both parties onto different life paths than originally planned and find each other again 5 years later. That's where the story got weird for me; I just wasn't held by how things played out for them, but, it does have a HEA.

Carson Stinger and Grace Hamilton were the epitome of the saying “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” except what happened to this couple in. Vegas did not just stayed in Vegas but they took it with them and made it their motivation, inspiration and drive to be better.
Without giving too much away, here’s what to expect.
1. Steamy! The book started with a bang! Hot, sexy and steamy scenes that have vivid description of Carson’s gorgeous, muscled backside and the well endowed, massive front package. I mean, why not! If you are a porn star, these are a requirement.
2.There should be a trope about “love in time of elevator lockdown” because the one happening in this book was kinda fun!
3. If you have been to. Vegas and had a great time, the locations featured in this book will bring back memories.
4. Once Carson and Grace parted ways after their crazy Vegas weekend, the story was so intense with all the signature Mia Sheridan’s catchy writing style that has a way of getting into reader’s feelings! It was good!
Over all it was a fun and fast read!

I am on a Mia Sheridan binge. this book is not the typical one for her IMO. This book is very romcom and sexy with some scenes. however the heroine was not my cup of tea. She was very "holier than thou and prudish" but it was pushed so many times in the book i wanted to scream "we knowwwwwww". However Carson is very book boyfriend vibes and i really look forward to his story more. For me the book feels different than her normal writing and does actually get better the second half.

I wouldn't necessarily consider this MS's strongest novel, but it's still entertaining and kept me invested from page one.
This is broken up into three different sections, each representing the three different components of Scorpio, and each section feels like a different story with different characters? I don't know how to describe it. Maybe it's the huge time jumps and the very little time the MCs actually spend together, but something about this just isn't quite right.
That being said, I adored Carson. So the four stars are really for him.
