This book is so cute. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an adorable slice-of-life comic. It goes by really fast if you read it all the way through, but i envision it as a small art/coffee table book you can look at when you need to smile.

This book was a joy to read and leaves you with that warm, fuzzy feeling of happiness inside. Milk and Mocha are adorable little bears that have a relatable and cute relationship. This book is depicts the heartwarming, and sometimes silly, moments of every day life. Milk is the outgoing and energetic one, while Mocha is more introverted and non-talkative. Although they're complete opposites, they find joy in the little moments and create a happy life together.
This is one of the cutest and sweetest books ever!
This is the sort of book you pick up in odd moments, read a few pages of this comic collection and feel slightly elated at the sweetness it exudes. It talks about the moments of Mil and Mocha's relationships- The silliness, the soft moments, and everything in-between, that has you yearning for a love like this.
From moments of snuggling up with another, hiding from scary movies, it highlights the quiet moments of life and is perfect for those who enjoy scrolling through Instagram and social media as each page is in a square format and feels very much like and Instagram read!
I loved this! I´ve already known the artist and the work of them before and was so happy when I saw that there is a book collection now!
It´s so cute and is perfect for making your day a little better <3
Milk and Mocha Comics Collection
Our Little Happiness by Melanie See
Melanie See’s Milk and Mocha Comics Collection is a perfect way to calm the mind. Milk and Mocha, two adorable bears, gently remind the reader of what it means to love and be loved. Serious Mocha is the perfect complement to playful Milk. Their love and acceptance of each other is non-exclusive and, eventually, the fearful (and super cute) Matcha wins their hearts. If are looking for a heartwarming read, I suggest giving this book a go!
Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for sending this book for review consideration.
Very, very cute. Cute illustrations and I absolutely love the teeny dinosaur. Will get this for our library for sure.
CONTENT NOTE: small amounts of ableist language and possible fat-shaming
Milk & Mocha Comics Collection: Our Little Happiness is a charming, funny, relatable collection of short stories about Milk and Mocha, two sweet bears whose opposites attract in delightful ways!
What Worked for Me:
✦ I absolutely adore Milk and Mocha comics! My partner and I joke a lot about how similar we are to the characters in so many ways, so we can relate to them very much lol. We often send the official gifs back and forth to each other in texts, so to be able to read a collection of the comics was just wonderful!
✦ I love the sweet and simple style of the illustrations. Melani Sie has a wonderful eye for proportions and keeping them round and cute while still very expressive and funny.
✦ I always appreciate comics like this that are low stakes, low tension, and still entertaining and sweet. It feels like a break for my brain, a boost of serotonin, and I love that.
✦ I love the colors Melani Sie uses for the comics-- the colorful and cheery palette matches the nature of the comics so well.
✦ The lettering is very well done, too, with everything being easy to read with plenty of space around the letters themselves. Easy to read, which I always appreciate.
✦ I also loved the way Melani Sie plays with using icons and images in the speech bubbles-- I don't see a lot of comic creators do this, and I always really enjoy it when I see one who does because it's close to how I personally see things in my mind. My mind thinks in images, textures, feelings, and sounds, so to see something like this represented in comics makes me feel so good inside!
What Didn't Work for Me:
✦ I didn't care for some of the ableist language in here. It wasn't a lot, but in a comic that employs few words, they stand out.
✦ I also felt like a few of the comics dipped into fat-shaming a little, which I didn't care for as a fat person myself.
Overall
I give Milk & Mocha Comics Collection: Our Little Happiness 4 out of 5 speech bubbles: this is such a sweet and cute collection of pick-me-up comics!

I absolutely adored this collection of comics from Milk & Mocha!
I've loved this webcomic for a long time, and this collection is just wonderful, with so many new and adorable scenes, plus the story of how they met!
These comics really do remind us to appreciate every moment in life, no matter how simple or small, to treasure our loved ones and to show everyone how much we love them, every day.
Milk & Mocha are complete opposites and yet they complete one another, in all aspects.
I adored this collection, I love the artwork, as always, and I'm really looking forward to having this book on my shelves!

This was cute, I do think sometimes these comic collections can get a bit redundant. There wee parts that were a little weird or not super explained but overall this is a cute collection
100 percent identified!
A book love, a love of reading, some memorable and super cute illustrations.
Each page with its respective story makes you feel happy and fills you with love. In addition to the situations presented, they are very realistic, I saw in them the interaction with my partner and I couldn't get over the emotion and laughter.
Cute so cute!

3.5 stars.
I have to say that at first glance the cuteness of this book is what caught my eye. It's adorable! The majority of the pages, which are shown in a comic/graphic novel design and layout, were easy to understand and often did make me smile and think how sweet what they are doing and saying is.
However. I felt that some where not so easy to understand. This could just be me and my mental health issues/disorders coming out but some took me a bit of time to get what the meaning was and some I just gave up trying to figure out. I understand that there probably won't be many like me that have this issue, but younger readers, who haven't had much life experience, might also notice this.
Overall though, it's a great little book and would make a fantastic gift.
Thank you to NetGalley for granting this ARC, super cute and fast read. The illustrations were adorable and the story was cute.
This cute book is all about the little things that bring you happiness! Milk and Mocha are truly opposite, but as they say, opposites attracts. I am writing this review on behalf of my 13 year-old daughter. She seemed to find the short cute comics more relatable than I did. The story lines were relevant and so cute! Reminds me of a best friend or sibling!
A sincere thank you to NetGallery and the publisher for ARC of this book.
