You Make It Feel like Christmas is a Christian Hallmark-esque type book!
This was is a quick, easy read full of Christmas cheer and family drama! From the outside Starr's family looks perfect, but each sibling has something significant happening in their life. I enjoyed the brother's best friend trope and watching Starr and Waylon's romance develop! I could definitely see this book becoming a series following each family member-and hope that happens!
This book has a strong Christian presence to it. I loved that these characters were seeking a higher direction in their life changing decision-making and always love a little extra heavenly mentions in my Christmas novels.
The two main characters have a fun romance, full of cheesy lines and romantic encounters and dates. It was perfectly festive and a fun, light read to sit back and relax with!
If you love Christian feel-good Christmas romances be sure to check this one out!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

This book was cozy, sweet, and wholesome.
Though the plot was predictable it was welcoming and comforting.
It felt like a hallmark movie, you kind of know exactly where it’s going but you watch anyway- for escape, for warmth, and for the surety that things will be ok. If only just for the moment. 🎄

Have you ever found yourself several chapters into a book thinking that it seemed super familiar to you? This was me when I sat down to read You Make It Feel Like Christmas. But since this was a brand new (not yet released) book, I ignored the feeling and read on. The more I read, the more familiar it felt until I looked it up and realized that this had previously been published in the All Is Bright collection as I'll Be Home... a collection I had in fact read about three years ago! It had even been my favorite story in that collection. In the author's note, it mentioned that there were some additions to the story. While I recognized the overall story as familiar, having been a few years since first reading it, the smaller moments were definitely fuzzy so I couldn't say what those additions were.
What I can say however that I enjoyed it just as much the second time around! Even having that vague recollection of how it was going to turn out, I still enjoyed Starr and Waylon's relationship so very much. The one- liners had me smiling throughout and their chemistry was such a joy to read. In addition to the romance though, I also really appreciated all the Christmas cheer and more importantly the emphasis on faith too. I loved how important of a role prayer played in this story. I think this balance of swoon-worthy romance and Christian messages is something that Toni Shiloh does brilliantly, and this book is definitely a prime example of that.
If you're looking for a fun holiday romance with an emphasis on faith, this is most certainly one worth a read... and even a reread!
**I received a complimentary copy for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Starr had a lot to deal with on her return home. In spite of that, she was willing to help Waylon with his mother's Christmas shop. Waylon was equally willing to help Starr through the awkwardness of her sister’s wedding.
These two were a sweet couple and the banter between them will have you grinning as you read.
Readers of You Make It Feel Like Christmas will be reminded that we must make the choice to forgive, even if the person who wronged us never apologizes.
I loved that both of these characters had a strong faith and turned to God in their difficulties.
You Make It Feel Like Christmas is the extended version of I'll Be Home for Christmas.
I received an advanced reader's copy as part of the author's launch team through NetGalley; a positive review was not required.

Pretty predictable plot. But I still thought this was a cute holiday read. Also, it is set in Washington, DC and I love that. If you are looking for a cute fast paced holiday read I would suggest this one.

I wanted to love this, but I unfortunately I didn't like it at all. I love cheesy Christmas stories, but this one went too far with the cheese for me. The FMC's sister is a b*tch, her ex is an a**h*le, there are strong Christian overtones that get annoying after a while (G*d and J*s*s get mentionned A LOT) and it's very insta-love; she considers changing her entire life after one date?! Not for me!

Christmas time is yummy smells, pretty decorations, joyful music, warm cozy sitting near the fireplace, drinking delicious hot chocolate, sharing sweet special moments with family, and much more.
Well, not for Starr. This holiday season was full of tension, stress, and worrying about the future until she was reintroduced to Waylon her big brother’s friend. That’s when everything started to change.
Starr is the youngest in her family and it always felt like she could never meet up with the others. She was never good enough or talented enough. She felt all alone and on the outside, unnoticed.
I loved reading this book. It has all the Christmassy feel and flair.
The author, Toni Shiloh, does a wonderful job of bringing in the spirit of Christmas. Yet, adds just a bit of chaos in the mix to her relationship with her sister. Can she survive all the drama, or will she finally just leave and never come back?
This story has it all, the warm holiday feelings, the “bridezilla” drama, and of course, the sweet times of romance! I could really see this as a Hallmark movie! It has just the right amount of fun, sweet, cozy feel.
Toni Shiloh is an author who brings out the sweetest stories and has you believing each of these characters is real. Her stories flow with great dialog and wonderful word pictures of places, people, and relationships. She also weaves Biblical truths and beliefs into her character’s life. It’s real and not fake or pushy. This is why I’ll always read one of Toni Shiloh’s books because I know I’ll always be blessed with beautiful life lessons.
I laughed, I cried, (well, not from anything too sad, but from laughing) I truly loved every moment I was reading this book and hope you will too. I highly recommend you pick it up and read it.
I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a heartwarming tale about family, exploring the complex relationships between siblings during the Christmas season, and the contrast between perceptions and reality. Christian Romance with lovable characters and a great plot with a surprise little twist.
"Praying is easy, but I've always found listening to be the hard part"
Starr returns home for the holidays and her sister Angel's wedding after being laid off from work. Though she's not too keen on being a part of the wedding as her ex-boyfriend is her sister's fiancé, she finds solace in spending time with Waylon, her big brother's best friend. As she helps Waylon with his late mother's Christmas shop, the two share fun banter and their relationship becomes cozy, exciting, and deliciously swoony. Starr's journey toward forgiveness and sisterly love is tough but ultimately rewarding. I appreciated how the main character's faith was woven into everyday situations. Whether you enjoy Christmas-themed books year-round or prefer to save them for the season, you will undoubtedly fall in love with Starr and Waylon and thoroughly enjoy this book.

"Praying is easy, but I've always found listening to be the hard part."
What a fantastic Christmas book! I love how Toni Shiloh works a little magic (whether it be with royalty, celebrities, or a Christmas store, in this case) into all of her books, kneads them well with lovable characters and a fun plot, and seasons them liberally with down-to-earth faith lessons. And this newest offering, which is actually a revamp of her previously released I'll Be Home, does not disappoint. Starr and Waylon's banter is super fun and their relationship is cozy yet exciting and deliciously swoony. Starr is quite lovable as the baby of five siblings but she does have troubles and issues she must work through. Her path to forgiveness and sisterly love is a difficult one, but so rewarding. I loved Waylon's corny sense of humor, his devoted care of his mom's treasured store, and his gentle tenderness for Starr. Older-brother's-best-friend trope fits perfectly into this Christmas themed story and it was a fast, easy, and fun read. The five Lewis siblings and their crazy antics reminded me of my four children when they're all home so this book struck an extra special chord with me. Whether you read Christmas-themed books all year long or like saving them for the season, you will totally enjoy this book and fall in love with Starr and Waylon.

You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Toni Shiloh is a fun, short Christmas romance. Starr, who is the youngest of five children, returns home for her sister’s Christmas Eve wedding. Several years ago, Starr’s boyfriend, Ashton, broke up with her and began to date her sister, Angel. Now the two are getting married. Starr, who is currently living in New York, returns home to Washington D.C. a month before the wedding. She tells her family that her boss allowed her a long leave when really she was laid off. While at home, Starr begins to become close to her brother, Gabe, best friend Waylon. Waylon has taken over his late mother’s Christmas store. However, he is not sure if that is something that he wants to continue to do. Meanwhile Starr is debating about trying to find another job and return to New York or stay in Washington D.C. and finish writing her book.
You Make It Feel Like Christmas is a fun, christian romance with great characters and a great plot with a few twists. This is the first book that I have read by Toni Shiloh and I plan to read more of her stories.

Starr comes home after being laid off. Her sister Angel is engaged to Starr’s ex Ashton. Her older brother asks his friend Waylon to be befriend Starr through all the wedding hoopla. I loved that Starr and Waylon both asked God’s guidance in everything they did. It is a sweet clean romance which is a delight in itself. I am fast becoming a big fan of Toni Shiloh.

The ups and downs of relationships, secrets, planning a wedding, job issues, and more are found in this sweet, heartwarming story. I love the way faith is shared in the everyday situations of the main characters. I enjoy reading stories with a Christmas setting. This is a great one. I received a complimentary copy of the book. “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas” by Toni Shiloh is a wonderful story of family dynamics and how each member perceives his/her place. Starr Lewis has been laid off and goes home for Christmas, Her feelings are complicated by family relationships. Starr is the youngest of the siblings. Besides getting laid off, she hates telling her over-achieving family, plus one sister is engaged to Starr’s ex-boyfriend and the wedding plans for Christmas Eve are in the forefront. She and one of her brother’s friends begin establishing a connection. Through it all, the main characters ask for God’s help in making the right decisions in their lives. I would have liked if the mother and father were eventually more in-tune with Starr’s needs, but they do come through somewhat. Thank you NetGalley and the Baker Publishing Group for sending me this ebook for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

I enjoyed this book. There’s lots of good stuff about family, about Christmas, about perceptions vs the truth. The characters are well drawn and they face real struggles.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. ##YouMakeItFeellikeChristmas #NetGalley

Holiday time and weddings and drama with family... yes, please! Shiloh has written it all in this new book. I enjoyed the story and characters a lot. It has me in the Christmas spirit! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Four stars.

Starr Lewis, youngest of 5 children, has come home for Christmas. Waylon Emerson, best friend of Noel Lewis, is alone this holiday season. Both Starr and Waylon have life challenges ahead of them. Starr has just lost her job in New York, and comes home feeling every inch the misfit of the family. Waylon is navigating his first Christmas without his mom and trying to salvage his mother’s Christmas store. The holidays and Lewis family events have tossed Waylon and Starr together, and readers will enjoy settling in for a sweet story set at Christmas. Author Toni Shiloh does a wonderful job, again, of developing real to life characters and helping them grow to better versions of themselves. I appreciate her use of fiction to help readers address areas of growth in their own lives, without the reader even noticing. I got lost in the storyline and seeing Starr and Waylon grow individually while also growing closer to each other. In the end, I was left feeling like I had read a sweet story, but also feeling like I had spent time on introspection myself. This is a story I will enjoy reading again.
I requested and received a copy of this book for review. The words and thoughts expressed here are wholly my own.

A cute easy to read Christmas story to get you into the holiday spirit. The story was enjoyable and full of meaning

Set at Christmastime in our nation's capital, this wonderful story involves an older brother's friend falling for the older brother's youngest sister. Starr, the youngest of the 5 Lewis siblings, hides her true feelings and desires as she tries to live up to her family's expectations. Laid off from work, Starr returns home for the holidays and for her sister Angel's wedding. She's not too thrilled about being in Angel's wedding as her sister's fiancé is Starr's ex boyfriend.
Starr and Waylon's relationship was sweet and realistic with the two of them being open with each other. Waylon's cheesy lines were fun to read.
Shiloh weaves the theme of forgiveness in this story as Starr struggles to forgive Angel.

I was in the mood for a a little Christmas in July and Toni Shiloh's latest was a great choice! I love Toni's books and have been reading all her new ones for a year or so now. One of these days I'll get around her to her back-list as well!
I loved Starr and Waylon's romance as they get to know each other more. He is her brother's best friend and she ends up helping him revive his mom's Christmas store. This was such a fun read and I heartily recommend You Make it Feel like Christmas!
