You Make It Feel Like Christmas is a rewrite of Toni Shiloh's I’ll be Home which was the first book in her Lewis Family series. This was a sweet and fun Christmas romance! I adore Toni Shiloh's books and I was excited to see how this one would turn out.
Starr and Waylon were a wonderful couple and I love how Shiloh creates her characters, they feel real. I really felt for Starr as she tried to navigate the holidays with her family. Starr had to learn to forgive and see beyond herself in order to find peace in Christ. Waylon was also a lovely character. He was trying to figure out what to do with his life and follow God’s lead.
I loved the romance and reading about Starr and Waylon falling in love. It was sweet to read about them caring for each other and helping each other. THey both had to learn to be still and wait on the Lord as they made decisions in their life.
The Lewis family is so wonderful. However there were times when I was so frustrated by Angel. She was a bit of an annoying character and she definitely got on my nerves at times. However I was excited to see that she had her own book. All of the Lewis’ siblings need their own books.
You Make It Feel Like Christmas is a must read Christmas book! I really enjoyed this book and ended up reading it in one day. I would definitely recommend it! You Make It Feel Like Christmas is a clean Christian romance.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, I was not required to write a positive review.

YOU MAKE IT FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS by TONI SHILOH is an enjoyable holiday read with a strong Christmas message of hope, romance, family and new beginnings.
When Starr Lewis goes home at Thanksgiving to face her sister Angel’s wedding to her ex boyfrienf Ashton, she has a worse problem in that she has lost her prestigious job in New York and does not want anyone to know about it. Will her brother’s best friend, Waylon Emmerson, with his good looks and cheesy quips, help her cope with her sister Angel’s unkindness, and will her beauty and help with his late mother’s Christmas store help him get over his grief?…..
I was given a free copy of the book by NetGalley from Bethany House Publishers. The opinions in this review are completely my own.

A cute holiday romance story. The storyline was well written and the characters were interesting. Would recommend.
Thank you to Toni Shiloh, NetGalley, and Bethany House for the arc of this book.

I have read several books by Toni Shiloh. She writes about real characters with real world problems and brings reasonable solutions to the issues.
In her newest offering, she has a plethora of characters who each fill a role in this story. She has a self-centered narcissist, a victim of the sister's machinations, stalwart brothers who protect their sisters from the world at large; then there are the parents who push their children to fit into molds the children didn't choose for themselves.
Angel is marrying Starr's ex-boyfriend. The night he met Angel, he broke up with Starr and went directly to Angel's hotel room to ask her out.
Starr is going home for Thanksgiving partially because she lost her job and partially because Angel wants her there to help with wedding preparations. When their brother, Gabe, introduces Starr to his best friend, things begin to look up for Starr's holidays. Starr helps Waylon revitalize his mother's Christmas shop so that it begins bringing in a profit. Waylon's gentleness attracts Starr and she begins to realize that while she has helped Waylon with his dream, she hasn't been living her own dream.
I love Toni Shiloh's books. She has a way of putting her words together that draw the readers in and keeps them hooked until they finish the book. Four Strong Stars

I just love books with Christmas themes. You Make It Feel like Christmas doesn't disappoint. Our mc makes her way back home after losing her job to attend her sisters wedding to her very own ex. We experience struggles, emotions, family support and friendship as she navigates this time in her life. It is everything you want it to be and more.

I received a free copy of, You Make it Feel like Christmas, by Toni Shiloh, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Starr just lost her job, and has to go back home for Christmas and her sisters wedding. Starr's sister Angel stole her man and is now marrying him. Starr is dreading going back home until she meets Waylon, maybe this Christmas wont be so bad after all. What a great Christmas story, I love Starr and Waylon, I love how Starr's family are named after Christmas, Starr, Angel, Noel, and Gabe.

What a heartwarming story that encouraged me to seek God and turn to Him. A good reminder of what family and friends mean in our lives.

BLURB:
As if going home for the holidays jobless and single wasn't bad enough, she's dragged into a holiday season full of activities leading up to her sister's uber-romantic Christmas Eve wedding--to Starr's ex-boyfriend. But when her brother's best friend, Waylon Emmerson, attends their family Thanksgiving, she starts to wonder if maybe coming home for Christmas isn't so bad after all.
As Starr finds the perfect distraction in helping Waylon make over his late mother's Christmas shop, the most wonderful time of the year works its magic and the spark between them grows. But with the holidays fast approaching, Starr must decide what she wants out of life after the gifts are unwrapped and the ornaments are put away--to go back to New York City or to open her heart to a love that will last beyond Christmas Day?
MY REVIEW:
Such a cute read! Starr has a great life in NYC, her dream life, or so she thinks. When she is forced to return home for her sister’s wedding, to Starr’s ex no less, she begins to wonder if her dream life is really all it’s cracked up to be. When she is thrown together with her brother’s best friend, sparks fly. With Christmas magic all around, can Starr hope to get what she really wants this year?
A fun, lighthearted, seasonal read, easily finished in an hour.
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in return for my honest review.
