This is the last book in Denise Hunter's Riverbend series and, by far, my favorite. I stayed up until one o'clock in the morning (that's very late for me) to finish this lovely book. Warning: have a box of tissues nearby—it's a tearjerker.

I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Wildflower Falls is the 4th book in the Riverbend series. I had not read any of the previous books in the series but had no problems following along with the book. I found this to be a heartwarming read, greiving the death of her mother Charlotte finds some startling news and then begins the search for her father. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher, and I am leaving my review my voluntarily.

So many good feels in this story, but it's not without its bumps in the road. Charlotte and Gunner each face their own past hurts and work to move forward into the future and all it holds. Fears and misgivings plague them but they work to overcome.

This series has been fantastic: heart, swoon, relationships (romantic and familial), hard work and fun, and a little intrigue. It seems like it's probably over...but there are two ladies I'd like to hear their stories, so I hope even though they're not Robinsons, their stories might be told.

Notes - some flashbacks to traumatic events (a fire), alcoholism

"Wildflower Falls" is the fourth book in the Riverbend Romance Series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone. As, I somehow missed the earlier books and will go back to find them now. The story revolves around Charlotte, a horse ranch owner, who inherits the ranch from her recently deceased mother along with her half-sister, Emmerson. Charlotte discovers a hidden envelope full of secrets, including pictures of her half-brothers she didn't know she had. She embarks on a quest to find her biological father before revealing her identity to her brothers. There were some funny moments as she was checking out her brothers.

Gunner Dawson, a temporary horse trainer at the ranch, complicates matters as a budding romance develops between him and Charlotte. The story skillfully explores family dynamics, self-discovery, and the complexities of sisterly bonds. Denise Hunter's storytelling expertise shines through, immersing readers in the lives of well-crafted characters. The book offers a clean and inspirational read suitable for book clubs, with discussion questions provided by the author.

In summary, "Wildflower Falls" is a heartwarming and engaging romance that delves into themes of family, self-discovery, and sisterly relationships. Denise Hunter's storytelling talent shines in this clean and inspirational narrative. Readers are sure to become invested in the captivating world of Riverbend and its endearing characters. Don't miss the chance to explore this enchanting tale.

This 4th book in the Riverbend series was my favourite. I really enjoyed the story of Charlotte and Gunner, as well as Charlotte’s quest to uncover more about her biological family, the Cooper brothers we met in the first three books of the series.

Gunner is a lone wolf who is always on the move, and Charlotte is someone with deep roots to her home and her community. However, that is where their differences end. I liked how they bonded as friends throughout the book based on their shared interests. They both had deep fears that they needed to overcome based on past life events. I especially appreciated the comparison between Gunner and Midnight, the horse with unknown trauma in his past who needed to be treated gently and patiently.

Although this book could be read as a standalone, it is definitely best to read the first three books in the series for full appreciation of the story.

A cute story:
I found this to be a unique and interesting as it focused on a family getting to come to terms with some shocking news and then uniting with forgiveness and love. It explored themes such as family ties, belonging and putting down roots. Even though I was invested in the story and wanted to find out how it would all turn out, I nevertheless didn't find it quite compelling nor impactful as the previous books in the series. I would have liked a stronger Christian message and didn't like some of the irreverent comments Charlotte made, such as "And (listening, God?) she could finally quit her job...". Other than these occasional "prayers" there were no other faith elements and it was tagged as being Christian fiction.

I’ve enjoyed this series and this was a sweet book to end the series. I enjoy Charlotte and Gunnar’s journey towards each other as well as her biological father’s healing journey with his children.

A sweet romance filled with complex characters, multi-layered relationships, and even a little mystery. I really enjoyed the dynamics between the main characters and each of the supporting characters. They were each different and unique, just like all people are. It was believable and enjoyable. The romance was the same way. It grew organically and didn't feel rushed. They had chemistry, but they didn't push it. Everything about this book I found enjoyable and relatable! Very well written.

I am a huge Denise Hunter fan so I went into this book with high expectations. The book follows Charlotte who is trying to keep her mother's legacy strong while keeping a secret with ripple effect., In an effort to prove she can carry own her mother's legacy she hires Gunner the legendary horse trainer. Gunner is also running from loss so he never stays in one place. I loved how Denise approached loss, family and hope . I recommend this book to people that enjoy stories with horses, family ties and romance,.

Wildflower Falls is the sweet ending to the series Riverbend Romance by Denise Hunter. It's written with the same elements that make me like Hunter's novels with extended family support, small towns and a sweet romance that has trials that test it.
Charlotte Simpson finds out that her father may be someone in Riverbend and she has more biological family than she knew about when her mother passes. She starts searching for her father and how she may be related to the Robinson family, the beloved members of Riverbend. Her mother also left her and her sister a horse ranch that Charlotte has a dream to make larger and more profitable, so she hires an experienced ranch hand, Gunner Dawson. Gunner plans on just passing through Riverbend after the summer, but those plans are questioned as he falls for Charlotte.
I didn't enjoy the fourth book in this series as much as the first three, but it was an enjoyable read. I felt the ending was tied up quickly to make a quick happy ending, especially with Charlotte's sister. But I do recommend this book to those who like a sweet, clean romance. The story of forgiveness also makes this book stand out.
I received a complimentary copy thanks to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson, but all opinions are my own.

Wildflower Falls closes out the brilliant Riverbend romance series and I loved it.

This time, in a fun twist, we meet the biological half-sister of Gavin and Cooper. Charlotte only discovered the identity of her father after her mother passed away. She’s now got two goals – expand the family horse ranch she’s been left, find her father and get to know her brothers.

Meanwhile, horse trainer Gus wants to help Charlotte build her business, then move on to Kentucky and the next job on his equestrian bucket list. Neither planned on falling in love. Or how complicated that could get in combination with family dynamics.

Denise Hunter is at her best when writing heartwarming family based love stories with a high emotional stakes. This book is no different. I particularly enjoyed the complexities of when to tell blood relatives that there’s a sister they never knew about, and how that would impact the wider community. Watching Charlotte and Gus both learn to trust again made me smile several times and I thoroughly enjoyed every page of their journey.

Wildflower Falls stands alone as a story although reading it as part of a great series is also a win. The benefit of reading the whole series includes three other great books and then the fun of seeing previous characters as their lives unfold. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a sweet romance.

I received a copy from the publisher via netgalley. The opinions (fairly gushy) are all mine.

Return to Riverbend in this stirring series conclusion.

Charlotte Honeycutt is shocked to learn the secret of her origins, and that she has siblings that she has never met. Meanwhile she hires Gunner, a lifelong rolling stone to help her train horses on her ranch. Can Charlotte and Gunner trust others and each other to find lasting love?

Charlotte longs for connection after the death of her mother, and finding her siblings seems like the perfect way to find it. I enjoyed seeing the Robinson clan, along with their growing families. I was kinda surprised to see another book in the series, after assuming that the previous one would be the last, but oh, this latest addition is the perfect conclusion I didn't know I needed, bringing everyone together and tying it up much more neatly.

I liked how Gunner was supportive and encouraging of Charlotte finding her family, as well as how he is ready to jump in and help her with whatever she needs.

Overall, a heartwarming and compelling romance, with strong protagonists, and a moving plot. Strong themes of letting go and choosing to stay, alongside forgiveness and family. Great addition to the series!

Wildflower Falls by Denise Hunter is a lovely book in the Hallmark tradition. I have long been a fan of this author. This book and its interesting plot is consistent with her excellent previous writing. I did find myself losing interest at times only because there was a lot about horses throughout the book and this is not an interest of mine. I received a digital copy of this book from the author with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

Awww yay, this story made me so happy! This is the fourth in Hunter's Riverbend Romance series, and I so enjoyed revisiting the Southern-USA town (especially now that I live down South! Aah!).

Being fourth, it does build a bit on those before it, and I recommend reading them in order. But you'll love them all--I sure did!

I especially loved the horse element in _Wildflower Falls_ (and, okay, the food; I didn't remember it being so prevalent in previous books, but MAN! It made me hungry!). My family can attest that I was "mildly" :D horse-obsessed growing up, and this just brought back all those memories! I'd be standing in line tryna get a pony ride now, too, if I could!

The characters, as ever with Hunter, are compelling and inspiring (and flawed, of course; all too relatable!). The plot really has a depth here I felt Hunter handled particularly well. It really got me thinking what I would have done in Charlotte's shoes; probably exactly what she did! And who wouldn't want to be part of the Robinson family (and, okay, live in Riverbend Gap)? Yes, please. :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Riverbend series by Denise Hunter. I was under the impression that book three in the series, Harvest Moon, was the final installment, so when I heard that Hunter was releasing a fourth book I jumped for joy and then immediately went to NetGalley to claim a copy. Wildflower Falls is a great Contemporary Romance. I really enjoyed every second of this highly engaging read. As with the first three stories, I very much enjoyed being back in the small-town community of Riverbend. I wish it were a real place so I could visit. The people are so heartwarming and accepting and protective, and the town itself seems so quaint and beautiful. Characters are great, as per the norm for a Hunter novel. I really felt for Charlotte and the precarious situation she is placed in for about three quarters of the story. She really is an illustration of that saying between a rock and a hard place. It didn’t seem like she had very good options, as anything she did would hurt someone’s feelings. Yikes! But she handles everything as best she can under the circumstances. What I really love is how the “mature “adults in the story, namely Jeff Robinson, see how difficult Charlotte’s situation is and support her rather than get angry at her. I really gravitated towards the supportive nature of the secondary characters. It’s so refreshing to see characters see things from another’s perspective instead of instantly charging into anger. As far as the main characters go, I loved Gunner and Charlotte. Their chemistry is palpable. I was really rooting for them the whole time. They’re both a little damaged and a little lost. But together, they are a force of support, friendship, and love. I so enjoyed their journey to love! I also appreciated Gunner’s issues with stuff and people. Gunner had something truly awful happen to him when he was little and it traumatized him significantly. So much so, that he became an adult who refuses to put down any roots, has no real friends, and owns only that which can fit on a bag on his motorcycle. While it is true that less is more when it comes to stuff, the same rule shouldn’t apply to people. When you refuse to allow relationships to form because you fear possible loss, you end up alone. Does Gunner come to understand this premise? Well, you’ll just have to purchase a copy of this fantastic story to find out!

Wildflower Falls is another home run from Denise Hunter. This is Contemporary Romance at its finest, and I cannot recommend this book enough. Pick yourself up a copy ASAP!

I received a review copy of this novel in eBook form from the publisher, Thomas Nelson, via NetGalley. In no way has this influenced my review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Another beautifully written clean romance in the Riverbend Romance series by Denise Hunter! When Charlotte’s mother dies leaving her the family ranch and an envelope full of informal about her biological father and her half siblings, l she works to save the ranch and find her father with her hired ranch hand Gunner. Gunner moves from job to job never putting down roots, but when they start developing feelings for each other they have to decide if a relationship is worth the risk.

This is such a sweet romance as Charlotte tries to find a way to identify who her father is. She thinks she knows, but she only finds the information after her mother dies. She's always wanted to know the rest of her family story and now she has the chance to figure it out, but how can she do that without unintentionally hurting anyone? Gunner is only in town for a short while, just long enough to help her get a training program started at her ranch. But then he comes to care for her, but he can't let himself. He knows what happens when you lose everything and he won't open himself up again. This story is a richly layered story that pulls in beloved characters from the prior three books but will stand on its own. I truly enjoyed it.
