This is a picture book, set out in sections, each named as a certain scenario, such as: The Club, Dinner party, Scuba Divers, etc. Within each section are a small number of pictures portraying the ongoing scenario but with earplugs appearing in place of people. The pictures are simple but well drawn and easy enough to follow. From the title you realise that, although the pictures show only earplugs in each scenario, they are representing more than just an innocent domestic (or other) scene. In most the positioning of the plugs can very readily be recognised as “erotica”.

It is a book aimed at a certain type of humour, and no doubt many will enjoy it. However, personally, I found only a few of the scenarios amusing and this is not a book I would widely recommend!
