This book was really cute and really sweet. This book definitely deals with some heavy subjects but it's done so gently and with so much love that this book just feels like a warm hug on a gloomy day. My only "complaint" is Stamper didn't make enough egg puns!
I loved this book! Eli is a thirteen year old boy, who just recently moved with his family to New York, and even more recently lost his mother. That makes it sound like this is a sad book, and there definitely were some sad parts, but overall everything was very positive. I think this book is perfect for people from many different age groups. I also think that it brings up a lot of very important, tough topics, while still keeping everything age appropriate. I will definitely be recommending this book to people!
