This book is being republished after initially published about 11 years ago initially. This one couples spies and romance so well together and it is such an intriguing read.

I didn’t know much about this one since there wasn’t a lot of reviews for it online so I went in pretty much blind.

I loved the ideas of trouble or bad things comes I threes throughout the book as it had me constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next.

The chemistry between the Mc’s was palpable and I really loved the forbidden vibes as he tried to fight off his attraction!

Thanks to the authors, publisher and NetGalley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
The original book by Montgomery was published in 2001 so I’m not sure what updates were made to the book since then .
Montgomery is the nom de plume of Stacey Abrams, an American politician, lawyer and author.
I’m not a fan of the pure romance genre, but this one was appealing since it was coupled with a spy novel element.
The last third of the book was not as exciting to me.
