This was a great romantic suspense that kept me reading late into the night!

While there is some talk of God and faith this is not a "preachy" book and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to non-Christians.

I really hope there will be future books featuring Bri's siblings!

Into the Fire by Irene Hannon dives into the world of Fire inspectors. From the first page, readers are introduced to the hero and the heroine as they try to investigate a fire scene. Hannon does a wonderful job at crafting a suspense element that keeps readers guessing and hoping for more. I have only seen one other story that featured fire inspectors, and that was Dee Henderson's The Protector. I love the past and the hard reality of the heroine's past. Domestic abuse and violence was brought to reality in this story. The faith element was not really an element in the story. Hannon did not have the characters have some faith driven moment of reality. Instead, they had a reality of what love is and how that will affect their future relationship. The heroine is part of a trio of adopted siblings that I think Hannon will feature in the next two stories. Already readers will see their deep relationship and what bonds them together. Overall, Into the Fire by Irene Hannon is a good introduction to the Tucker family, and I can't wait to meet Jack and Caroline in a more personal close way.

What an intense and suspenseful thriller! Into the Fire starts a new series with three siblings beginning with Bri’s story, a fire investigator with the Bomb and Arson unit. Enlisting the help of ATF agent Marc Davis, Bri embarks on a search for answers regarding a house fire that took the life of a retired fire investigator. There are so many twists and turns that kept me guessing. There are lots of emotions, too as we see into the mind of a serial killer. In contrast, we see the love and support of family among the siblings. And we get to see the relationship develop between Bri and Marc, as they learn to trust each other professionally and personally. I love Irene Hannon’s books and this is no exception. I am looking forward to Bri’s brother Jack’s story next.

This book starts out with intensity and doesn’t let up. The characters are strong, the mystery is complex and fast-paced, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the relationship between Bri and her brother and sister, and the blossoming feelings between Bri and Marc. There were some surprises I didn’t see coming, with various twists and turns. I now anxiously await Jack’s story!
