A body is found by hikers during the Spring thaw. He has chemical burns, and it appears that he has swallowed chemicals.

Detective Rebecca Ellis and Euan McCallister are called in to investigate, and find that the case is more complicated than they thought.

I am fast becoming a fan of Robin Mahle's books. I like this detective, a strong, intelligent female lead.
The characters are slowly developing, and I like that there is a bit of romance, but I like that it is not the main feature of the book.

The book contains a bit of everything, murders, suspense and good detective work, and some romance. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more of this series. Well done, Robin, and thank you.

Yes, another great book by Robin Mahle. A Frozen Grave (Detective Rebecca Ellis Book 2) has great characters, a good storyline, lots of twists, and enough intrigue to keep me reading well into the night.

I love the relationship between Rebecca and her partner, Euan McCallister, who seems to have feelings for Rebecca. Another colleague of Rebecca's also has feelings for her, and it will be interesting to see how this all plays out in hopefully other books.

I like the rapport the characters have with each other, and some of the one-liners put a smile on my face as I was reading.

I would highly recommend this book and this series. I am looking forward to more, please!!

A solid 5 out of 5 stars for me. And I love the cover; it sets the stage for the story.

I quite liked this book, not read any of the authors books before but I’m glad I found her, great start and looking forward to more in the future

Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, intrigue, murder, mystery, A great who done it, Great detective work, and a few crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading!
